eph12:Firstly, you're missing the point. Yeah, Sancho has been on and off the team and there's a reason for this. This is his third season here and he's not done shit. Least you'd expect coming into the new season is more commitment and hardwork than every other person in that team. But we've had the exact opposite. Sancho is supposed to be our other option from the right. But he's decided to be stupid so far this season. Now we've had to switch one of our vital players from his best position. And the fact that you can ask how Rashford has been better than Antony this season just says a lot about how much you guys flip-flop. Or is it the same Antony that hasn't done a single thing right this season? I'm always one of those that want to defend him but couldn't even muster a word of defense for the guy. 2 Likes |

patrickmuf: 100%. Someone that has disappointed several times despite getting multiple chances and a very long leash is now proving strong head. If Sancho wins this battle ETH will quickly lose the dressing room and he can kiss his job goodbye sooner than anticipated. 7 Likes 1 Share |

TrebleChamp: You do know that even if the contract is terminated he will continue getting all of his money, right? The 2 options are either he apologizes or he gets sent out on a loan deal or a permanent deal in January. Considering how crap he has been, nobody will buy him and pay him what we are paying him, so the most likely scenario is a loan deal where we still pay some of his salary. Another result of the Udoji contract that we offer our players. We offer players undeserving contracts and because they think they have arrived they slag off and become unserious. They lose form and then we can't offload them because other clubs are not that ridiculous and incompetent. Good examples are the last contracts of Phil Jones, Eric Bailly, DDG, Martial, Sancho. When i first heard of Sancho's contract i refused to believe it for at least a year. Even now, i still find it unbelievable. Like, unbelievably mad. 9 Likes |

Only three teams have won the league ahead of a side managed by Pep Guardiola: ◉ José Mourinho's Real Madrid (11/12) ◉ Antonio Conte's Chelsea (16/17) ◉ Jürgen Klopp's Liverpool (19/20) Can Erik actually end the Pep Era this season?😬 |

The weyrey called sancho thought ten hag is a sissy like ole when it comes to management. He better find his way out by January. Good riddance. My man ten hag is the best thing to have happened to this club since Ferguson. My only worry for him is that he trusts his training result more than anything. Sometimes, a manager has got to be ruthless with hairdryer treatment just like Fergie. Players like martial, mctominay, Maguire etc may be doing well in training, but the truth is they will never be top class players. They are better off sold or demoted to the bench. And proper players should have been brought in to challenge the likes of rashford and fernandes, who are both average in my opinion. Anyway, I wish ten hag the best in his job, and I support his decision to stick with these players. I hope he turns things around quickly and start playing good football because so many people hate the club, and nothing will give me more joy than seeing haters burn in their hatred. 5 Likes 1 Share |

This ETH is just feeling himself like one PEP, but we let us wait and see. Come to think of it, although I don't like ETH, I think he should be given time and by time i mean nothing less than 4-5 seasons. We need a new playing pattern and this can take up to 2 seasons to implement. This boys are only used to counter attack and even though i am an advocate of quick counter, i have come to realize that pattern of football wont take us anywhere in the league. Football has evolved and if you are playing counter attacks, you will be at the mercy of better teams like city and even arsenal. Just look at how Madrid dey collect, if Madrid dont change their ways, teams that play like city and Barca will rape them in European competitions in the future. |

afrodoc2:The bolded is why i criticize the board a lot during Ole tenure and now. Sancho is on a huge salary, i don't think any club will want him except maybe the Saudis. See how Maguire refused to take a pay cut to join Westham, i doubt Sancho will take a pay cut to join any team. So if by January United cannot ship him out permanently or on loan, would it be wise to leave him at home collecting his fat pay while still being a nuisance to the team? The club should terminate his contract and pay him off if no Club come for him in January, huge financial decision i know but would be best for both parties. |

TrebleChamp: I am certain he would either apologise and return to the senior team or a club will come for him in January. The thing is that even if he apologises I think ETH is done with him, and even if ETH is not done with him I don’t think he is worth the distraction UNLESS there is a miraculous change in mentality and performance. This one is looking like it’s going to be another case of wasted potential. Dele Alli 2.0 Many of those UK council estate footballers are potential wastemen. 7 Likes |

TrebleChamp: If the board should terminated his contract and pay him off. He'll be the biggest boy in town mehn. And that might affect the club's finances ohh. Most of the pays for the players are gotten from money generated during the week. And Sancho will then take money that might pay 5 players once like that. And workers still dey clubs to be paid ohh. Assuming na 1 year remain for the contact now, it might be affordable. But this guy signed 5 or 6 year contracts. And he's in his 3rd year now |

Searchingvictor:He is already a big boy in town collecting £350k per week free of charge. I agree it will be a huge financial burden on the club to terminate and pay him off, but that boy has to leave on way or another. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 11:41am On Sep 26, 2023 |
TrebleChamp: Being good at something doesn’t automatically mean you enjoy doing it. Some of these guys don’t even like football like that but because the money will take them out of poverty they have to do it. So once they get the money it is hard for them to maintain that same hunger and drive. The only way to maintain that drive after making money is if you truly love playing football. This applies in life generally, not only in football or sports. 7 Likes 1 Share |

I think the reason Sancho doesn't want to apologize is because he doesn't want to play for ETH or the club anymore. This is an excuse not to play and he is fine with it. |

ChristoBam:Antony has been out of the team. He had off field issues that may even have been affecting him but Antony has always been an average player, if not below average so I don't care. However I like how you're blaming players that are absent for the performance of those that are present. It's cute |

eph12:Why do you guys always miss the point of a message and pick an extreme to amplify? What's so hard to understand that the team needs all hands on deck especially seeing the RW issue the club is currently facing and this is the worst time for Sancho to be throwing tantrums. Nawa oo |

A player is coming late to training repeatedly, undermines the team and manager, and doesn't give a rats ass about the club. I'm surprised some of you still back that kind of player over the manager. If he keeps getting away with it, lawlessness will reign in the dressing room. 6 Likes 1 Share |

eph12:Lmao if that's your interpretation of the whole Convo then na you sabi. It's funny aafter our exchange, you run out with the narrative I'm blaming certain players. Meanwhile na you dey do the blaming. The players we're talking about came into the Convo cuz na you dey find list of who's deserving of blames. You tried to absolve Sancho of any faults cuz he's not gotten game time and then realized that was silly. You've then jumped on Antony. All of these just to say there are not a lot of people to throw blames at asides from Rashford. |

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by eph12(m): 2:22pm On Sep 26, 2023 |
ChristoBam:I have chosen to see Sancho as not one of our players anymore. As far as I'm concerned he doesn't want to be here and we won't miss him. We have never missed him. I don't even want ETH to add him back to the team. For some reason, you see this as me absolving Sancho of whatever, that's you and ellexy problem. He has never had a major role in the team even though he has had his moments. But if you prefer to leave those that are currently in the team and need to do better, to concentrate on those that may never be a part of the team again, you need help. |

eph12:You know what is funny, Ronaldo fan boys defending and making excuses for Sancho just to spite Ten Hag. The irony of it all makes one laugh. Ronaldo is the epitome of professionalism and hardwork, and would do anything to maintain that mark but his fan boys are coozing up to what their ídolo can't tolerate. Issorai 4 Likes 1 Share |
