I don’t even want a luxury player like Rashford in the team sef. It creates cracks in the squad. Other players would be thinking, “why should I be the one running around and marking while Rashford loses the ball and strolls around”?

They may be okay with it but when Rashford fails to score in 6 games, no one will want to work while he’s useless.

Even Ronaldo was putting in shifts defensively when he was banging in goals during his first stint at United. It was when his outputs went crazy that he was given some leeway defensively. And even at that, he wasn’t as lazy as this current Rashford

Rashford problem is his mentality. And it's something a good coach can work on. We already know he has the skills and can deliver. I still have some faith in him but only if we have a solid team that can cover his excesses

Of course he needs timeout. He has not been managed properly this season. We had Rashford, Antony, Garnacho and Amad, but ETH will rather continuously play the same people everyday until the criticism becomes too much or injuries happen

I think it coincided with the arrival of Wilcox at the club. Maybe they sat ETH down and explained carefully that he’d lose his job if he continued fielding that rubbish taktiks.

Yeah I think someone high up saw the rubbish and made sure ETH could see it too. Maybe some new arrivals like Wilcox. But ETH defenders made it look like it was just impossible to play better than that because of the injuries. But look at the team now, we have McTom, Mainoo and Amrabat keeping it tight at the midfield. ETH no try at all
