TrebleChamp: You guys always say this thing but speaking out in the public generally changes nothing. When Mourinho spoke out it changed nothing. Even SAF had to lie that there was no value in the market. Countless Spurs managers have been speaking out yet Levy dey ignore them. The main thing speaking out does is to soothe the frustration of fans like you. Ultimately it does not change anything for the manager. 3 Likes |

TrebleChamp: This “speaking out” opinion still exists in 2025? |

maik99: For someone as vocal and opinionated as he is, i doubt if he's trying to manage INEOS here... Amorim: https://www.espn.com.au/football/story/_/id/43357278/man-united-transfers-ruben-amorim-downplays-signing-players |

maik99: The last person that spoke out publicly about the need for new players was Rangnick and he lost his new job before he even started the job. If a manager speaks out about needing players, it is okay but if he doesn't i won't use it as a stick to beat him with. I am rather interested in his coaching and tactical ability and his ability to manage the dressing room. If he also floods the team with his ex-players like ETH did, then he has to share responsibility for that as well. |
