Moreover the defence needs a leader - someone to take charge when things get out of hand and everyone else is confused. You think Smalling is up to it? Blind was phenomenal against Liverpool.

His performances regards his football intelligence hasn't always been like this; SAF wouldn't even have signed him or say he could be our best player ever. Some of his problems would pass away with more experience so he simply cannot be written off.

We are hearing rumors of release clause here and there but the bottomline is nobody really knows if there is a release clause and if there is one..I believw it will be considerably high.If Perez didn't wanna pay less to get him this year..Why would he pay more?(possibly a world record fee fpr a GK).Perez also said recently that Real won't pursue De Gea next summer.Truth is I personally beleive he will stay because (a)We av offered more wages than real and (b)he feels genuinely loved here.I know it sounds like nothing but hey...who am I not to be optimistic??

How bad? Adebayor has scored goals in this division before mate (ask gayners) and has also scored goals when he went on loan to real madrid and also at tottenham! His problem is that he "only plays for contracts and cheese' hence my suggestion that his deal would be a "pay as you play performance based one"! His wages would also be meagre at best! Unless you are one of the fans happy to have "fellaini and wilson" as backup strikers when our inevitable injury plagued period of the season comes up? Go and revisit yesterdays 1st half again for some clarity!

madrid wasn't going to pay that much for a guy in the last year of his contract which is the main reason the deal collapsed.

Blind makes a strong case for himself in that CB position yesterday. More performance like that and he'll shut up doubters like me forever. Worried about Memphis, Martial for president.

I'm actually a Leicester City fan and have been pretty open about it . And the first football game I attended in the UK was Leceister v Newcastle in December 1999 at Filbert Street.

Leceister lost 2-0 though. Shearer scored.

So yes I will nail my colours to mast. Leicester are title contenders!
