Leyqute: Griezmann is definitely the best Player we need to replace Mkhitaryan in the Lineup, but we have to be realistic coz we can never get him in January - perhaps in the Summer. |

chrisley024: So you suggest we should stick to Mkhitaryan till the End of the Season?! I think Sanchez prefers Man City, or probably move to PSG. |

Lana1: You know what I am saying,he got us back into the Champions League by winning the Europa League. He won the League cup. He won the Charity shield. He will only do better this season no matter what you think. I have absolute confidence in Jose and I believe he and the team he is building will only get better. I will only judge his progress in May 2018. Into then I will continue to support the red colours, no matter his tactics. I suggest you do the same if you are a TRUE United supporter but if you are a closet Citeh supporter like a lot of pretenders on this board, you are free to continue to criticize. I await the matches between United and Citeh,Spurs or any other rivals to the throne. 2 Likes |

Oasis007:I'd take him since it's on a free but in games like today he'd had been anonymous. We need players that can keep the ball and help in controlling the game. |

Leyqute: So you expect him to forfeit Champions League Footie for the Move?? We shouldn't expect him to leave Atletico Madrid this Season, coz he needs Champions League Footie more than he desires a Move to another Club. |

Leyqute: errrmm..first and foremost,we need to define what kinda way you mean...if its by being cautious against the big guns away, then MOURINHO inter,Chelsea 2012,athletico 2014,2016...but to mention a few... now I'm not saying that I support defensive tactics all through, but there are games one needs to b pragmatic in approach,... fans can wail from now till thy kingdom come, but mou has used that pattern to achieve success over d years so its what he would still do.. it begs the question of what if sir Alex had tweaked his ganeplan a bit against barca in two finals instead of the gung ho approach |

Dantedasz:Sooooooo....UCL qualification and minor domestic cups is now what is needed to achieve greatness at the summit of football?? UCL qualification that is even supposed to be an annual occurrence for a club of United's status? Even the UCL qualification sef was via the back door because we finished 6th. Wau. Ur own definition of summit is clearly different from mine 1 Like |

“They played with a very strong midfield of [Emre] Can, [Georginio] Wijnaldum and [Jordan] Henderson for 90 minutes but, in the second half, I had no-one on the bench to change the direction of the game. "I thought they were afraid of our counter attack. I just tried to improve in attacking areas where I could surprise them, but they kept a strong organisation in midfield. I was waiting for him [Jurgen Klopp] to break it [the play] a bit more. But he didn’t let it break. A point, in this long marathon? A point at Anfield is OK.” - Jose Mourinho |

“The opposition was good today, but we played our game. In the first half, we had a couple of very good chances and good control of the game. "In the second half, [Nemanja] Matic tired and I had no solutions on the bench. I tried with my substitutions to make us more dynamic in attack but, in reality, we lost power and energy and control in midfield.” - Jose Mourinho |

“I think he [Klopp] did well. He didn’t let the game break. I think [Jesse] Lingard and [Marcus] Rashford were waiting for the game to break but it did not. I think they were very good team from a defensive point of view, much pressing. "The only chance I had to change the direction of the game was to bring players on with speed and maybe, they are going to change their formation but they didn’t. The second half was like a game of chess but my opponent didn’t open the door for me to win the game.” - Jose Mourinho 1 Like |

“We came for three points but in the second half we felt it difficult to do that with the match and the dynamic it had. I was waiting for Jurgen to change to go more attacking but he kept the three strong midfield players all the time and he had control. "I had only Herrera and Matic. When I brought on Rashford and Lingard, I expected him [Klopp] to change but he kept the three which means his midfield was stronger today. At times, I was waiting for my team to do something but I couldn’t do anything with no midfielder on the bench." - Jose Mourinho |

Caveatemptor: It's one thing to defend well and attack nicely when it's time to attack. It's another thing to throw attack out the window and defend for almost the whole duration of a game. These are the match stats for Chelsea vs Inter in 2010 and Liverpool v Man Utd today. Did you note any difference? How can you win when you barely attack your opponent? I don't know how he'll do it but Mou has to figure it out. He needs to set up his team such that there's a way to attack and defend well against top teams.

dubylhover: Go and Check United games versus Liverpool it's usually pack the bus tactics even during Ferguson. United versus Liverpool don't usually produce goals. the scousers usually raise their game whenever they see mourinho, anybody that condemned mourinho for this draw is either a hypocrite or doesn't know history. Ferguson would be highly excited with this result regardless of Liverpool's form 1 Like 1 Share |

dubylhover: Don't get it twisted. What we played today is not the same as what those teams play. Even whenever Fergie defends, you still see that blistering attack from time to time. The transition from defense to attack was instantaneous. How did we become a fantastic counter attacking team then? Nobody will bat an eyelid if that's the case. We will even barely notice the emphasis on defense as long as we win. The thing is Mou should find tactics and ways of breaking top teams down, not play for a draw and hope for a win. |

dubylhover: Nobody is even talking about the 0-0 draw we got away to Barcelona in 2008 when fergie went for a draw and got it, and at home, immediately Scholes scored he closed shop. Why do we have shot memories, if Ferguson had avoided and open game at city in 2011 and hadn't lost 6-1 we wouldn't have lost that 2012 league on GD. Abeg make people calm down joor. It seems most people here started watching football recently. 1 Like 1 Share |

If we win the league or finish 10th, e no get as e take concern my statement cos I was only being sarcastic of your use of the word 'summit'.. |
