Hehehe. Even Mikael Silvestre and David Bellion have great youtube videos. Trying to counter hours of EPL tape that we have on Fred with 2 different managers (Jose and Ole) with a few minutes of highlights is laughable.

Fred that starts to fidget with the ball in front of box 18 under the slightest pressure. I was not one of those hyping him when we bought him. I didn't know much about him apart from the odd UCL game, so i decided to wait and assess him after he arrived. So far he has been a colossal waste of money and space, approaching Bakayoko levels of midfield ineptitude.

It's been said here before that highlights doesn't show everything, i only brought it up to prove that Fred might actually perform better in a league where he can be afforded time, not the EPL.

Btw, didn't know him at all till his signing.

The problem here is that some United players got to the top quite easy, thanks to 'academy graduate'. So it gives this false sense of belief that they're automatically better than those who didn't have that privilege. For example, Lingard, it's very clear that United has a bias for their academy products but in all honesty, United won't buy Lingard if he was playing at some other mid-table club. Rashford should be loaned to some lower club so that he actually feels the rigor of playing in small teams, not having the iconic No10 jersey handed over to him easy.
This was the same problem Januzaj faced when he was at the club, some good performances from the academy and they immediately gave him No11. The Sancho everyone is screaming for right now had to leave City for Dortmund.
Though i didn't watch the Leicester match, hearing that they beat Southampton 9-0, a team that we drew with is pretty annoying to be very honest, i don't care if it's Home or Away. Look at the stats, Leicester had 15 shots on target, out of which 9 were goals. That's top stuff right there.

I highly doubt United will sign Ndidi when McTominay is still in the team though. He's a black player from Africa (Not S.America), he's not English and certainly doesn't have the DNA.

While teams were replacing their quality aged players with another quality SAF was using Clerverly, Welbeck and co simply because he had English FA and referee backings. Now water don pass garri. When Chelsea was loaning their academy players who seem ready as at then to teams like Vitesse to go play with their mate and develop properly at least you guys were mocking them. Now you can see how mount, Abraham, are playing without fear or pressure or complacent. you're saying Matic is comparable to Ndidi in his 2014/15 and 16/17 campaigns

In 2015 Matic is the best DM in the PL and top 3 in the world yet he's only comparable to Ndidi, Ndidi wey no even sabi pass well.


Herrera of 16/17 destroys any version of Ndidi you want to bring.

In the past two seasons kante Fernandinho fabinho Gana Dacoure and Matic have all been better.

Actually, that match was more of a serious tactical battle between OGS and Klopp.

OGS switched from his favorite 4-2-3-1 to 3-4-2-1 in order to counter Liverpool's marauding full-backs, as Liverpool attacks with a narrow 3 (Mane, Firmino, Salah/Origi) and 2 full-backs (Trent & Robertson)... While Wijnaldum and Henderson thread passes, with Fabinho shielding Van Dijk and Matip.

Against teams that play with 4 defenders, Liverpool has a one man advantage through Trent & Robertson, making it 5 attackers vs 4 defenders.

OGS used 3 centre-backs and 2 fullbacks in order to balance it and make it 5 vs 5.. If he played 4-2-3-1, it would have been to United's disadvantage.

All Klopp did to level the scores and possibly win the game was add another attacker to maintain the one-man advantage, so he switched from 4-3-3 to 4-2-4 in the match, making it 6 attackers vs 5 defenders.

This caused United to have problems because Wan-Bissaka now had to deal with Chamberlain instead of Robertson, thereby giving Robertson space to make those marauding runs. As a matter of fact, OGS did not have an answer to this tactical change, we just had to hold unto the one goal till end of the match.


So, No, Keita is not the only creative midfielder in Liverpool, and the United match was more of a Klopp masterclass than Keita's creativity. There are people that actually study football, it's not all kick and run lol
