Panther7: Finishing cannot be taught outrightky but it can be improved upon. If you practice your movement and finishing from some positions often enough you’ll score lots of goals. It becomes second nature to you. And Ole hasn’t been in charge for 3 years. It’s just been a little over 2 years since he got here. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by KingAlabi: 11:54am On Feb 17, 2021 |
Leyqute:That defense had enough space, rashy will definitely score that goal |

Lana1: I think the major problem is in his head. He’s confused and sometimes doesn’t know what to do or how to do it. That’s why he makes so many wrong decisions on the pitch. |

afrodoc2: The main debate was he was a good option if Sancho wasnt coming, I said then that we can't buy this guy for 70+m (what wolves were quote then), he doesn't worth it. Also na assists and goal Dem dey take rate attacker na He isn't a creative midfielder He is an ATTACKER |

KingAlabi:Rashford would have missed the first 2. That second one, he would have controlled it and cutback like 5 times before shooting into a defender. That boy has regressed. He has the potential of becoming a world beater but maybe he's not being coached well or just silly. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by KingAlabi: 12:05pm On Feb 17, 2021 |
Elxandre: Rashford you see your life outside |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 12:06pm On Feb 17, 2021 |
KingAlabi: How do you get assists when your passes are being wasted? He has created more goal scoring opportunities than all our players apart from Bruno. He needs to improve his scoring, that i agree with you but that assist stat is vey misleading. He is definitely not worth 70m if that was the initial argument. Not normally and definitely not in a COVID world. |

afrodoc2:Thank you...I watch almost all the games on Saturday and Sunday just to kill boredom so without checking stats, I know Adama has been very good creating chances that is not converted. If I came up with the above, it would be mistaken for defence of a player I like... |

MRTA7:Rashford has not found the right teacher lmao, Rashford has played with good strikers like Ibrahimovic, Rooney, Kane, Cavani even Lukaku to a large degree and he can't learn 1 or 2 about finishing from them. Maybe you should blame the child this time rather than the teacher. The only solution is for United to keep creating more quality chances in games in order to mitigate the effect of missing chances. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 1:56pm On Feb 17, 2021 |
They should move Greenwood to CF as back up to Cavani. He has far more potential in that role than Rashford and Martial. He will turn 20 next season and we should start finding out whether he is the real deal now. Martial and Rashford should fight it out for LW while Amad and someone else fight it out for the RW. 1 Like 1 Share |

afrodoc2:Agreed 100% Ole said he is the best finisher in the club last season, Martial's time as a striker is over, Greenwood just needs to add heading to his game and movement in the box. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Sniper4real(m): 2:10pm On Feb 17, 2021 |
Panther7: How good is Ole as a striker with his finishing. Na highlight we watched most |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 2:12pm On Feb 17, 2021 |
Panther7: Before he ever played for the first team i had already told guys here that he was the best finisher in the club and people were laughing. You are right about those 2 areas he needs to improve on, especially heading the ball. I think his movement is still manageable and would only improve the more he plays as CF and trains with a movement sith like Cavani. 5 Likes |

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Leyqute(m): 2:41pm On Feb 17, 2021 |
Panther7: Same feeling here. I want to believe the contract situation plus his off-field issues are the reasons for his decline in form. Hoping to see him tearing up the scene soon. P.S: There is a growing debate on his new contract- about the 75k per week he’ll be getting for the next 5 years. Some people say it’s too much. What are your views on that? |

Solskjær on why Amad is at the perfect club: "We give them a chance to come to Manchester United and have a successful career. That is something we take serious and are good at — we like to give players a chance. Our fans, our history has always been about skilful attacking players. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 2:48pm On Feb 17, 2021 |
Solskjær: "If we see him [Mata] on the pitch [against Real Sociedad] I'm sure he'll want to prove to Spanish fans what a player he is." |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 2:49pm On Feb 17, 2021 |
Solskjær: "I spoke to him [Martial] this morning and he's mentally strong — it's not something anyone should have to go through. He definitely seems like he is - he's not checking social media - but it is disgusting. We have to do something about it." |

Solskjær on doubts to face Real Sociedad: "Anthony [Martial] and Scott [McTominay], so we will have to check them tomorrow." |

Solskjær: "He [Mata] has been away for a little while — against West Brom you wonder what he might have done. He is travelling with us [to Turin]." |

Solskjær: "We are the team who have scored the most goals in the league. Our strikers haven't scored as much as we'd like to - that's a good problem." |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 2:52pm On Feb 17, 2021 |
Solskjær: "We've in periods been very good at counter-attacking, had good performances by defending deeper. The last year and a half we've worked on pushing higher - that's another layer. Now we want to marry the two." |
