1. Its either they are lying. They must have fired before asking questions and later discovered he is one of them.

2. Mr. Clement is using his service pistol to rob people on that infamous area and on sighting his colleagues fled so that he wont be identified.

1. Why would a Police inspector, run at the site of uniformed police men?!

2. WHy did the pursuing officers fire on a suspect who hadn't fired on them just yet?!

Maybe he went there alone 2 investigate d patrol team.when d team got to know tht he was investigating them and probably having solid evidence against the team,they decide 2 kill him & destroy the evidence.

Maybe D shoters may actually be the robbers, may be d other police guy sighted them in order to cover thier tracks was to kill him. any how is better d kill themselves than killing innocent people

I think the inspector saw them stealing and they recognized him and killed him so as to protect their asssh. How can an officer of that caliber run away when ordered by fellow policemen to stop.  It is impossible. They killed him so that the man will not implicate them/

The dead don't talk but the living do. Interview the killer team seperately and loopholes will be found in their initial story. I am curious to know why our policemen do not shoot to maim but shoot to kill always.

The shooter must be a boko haram member. I remember boko haram promising a bounty on anyone who kills a senior police officer. they should be interogated properly. Whenever these policemen stike, they get at innocent men while the crooks continue to operate and go free

Yes, there is a big possibility that the inspector is one of the criminals terrorizing the area, otherwise what will he be doing alone in that lonely place at that time of the night. Even at that, does the Nigeria police has the right to kill any suspected criminal, especially when the criminal didnt make any attempt to attack them? Why not pursue him and catch him alive, or even shot him on his leg if they have to shot to catch him? Nigeria police is truely a mess
