Nigerian born international singer Asa has threatened to sue Questionmark Entertainment, her former label for allegedly infringing on her trademark. Questionmark Entertainment is being accused of making plans to go into commercial production of a purported music production of the singer.

The singer’s representatives, Red Nigeria has released a statement to that effect alleging that Questionmark Entertainment and MackKings Limited, a marketing-distribution company have commissioned the production of a purported Asa music production titled “Down on Me”
According to the singer’s rep, the production was commissioned to a CD factory in Nigeria identified as Chronotech Limited. The production company in a bid to verify the authenticity of the production contacted Asa’s reps.
