emmasoft: It never worked for me right from day one of the takeover. Several mails to them get the usual 'we are working on it' reply. However they send me statement via email when requested. Just that the parent bank (GT) is one I've used for years and generally satisfied with their services, if not would have dumped the MMF since. |

alezzy13: Honestly many people including myself thought GTFundmanagers will be superb judging from what their parent company is known for but so far we were proved wrong. Well, it's possible they get it right with time. For now, I sell MMF for Stanbic and EDC and Fixed income for SFS. |

Please I will need some advice here, judging from the fact that Tinubu has won this election, will it be advisable to convert all my money to Dollars or Keep investing in Mutual Funds? I really don't think he has the capacity to lead this country 5 Likes 2 Shares |

richforever123: The President does not really need to be involved in everything. Look for key areas. Get competent people in such areas and get monthly reports from them for monitoring. If you want to settle political party faithfuls, just push them to low key ministries. 7 Likes |

richforever123: It seems you do not know how the NSE swings. People are taking profits. After 5days of consistent rise, what were you expecting?. Do not forget that many Asset Management Companies have Mutual Funds that are tied to equities. You only make real profit when you sell otherwise it is paper profit. Amateurs will likely rush in to sell and it will continue to fall. Once it gets to a particular price level, the big players buy back on the low and wait for another cycle to sell. NSE is a yoyo. If you have a stock and it has been rising 0.5% every day, after 5 days, that is a cumulative rise of 2.5%. Calculate that rise on 1m units of the stock. 3 Likes |
