An interesting quote on the Ibori saga and how a THIEF could have become President of Nigeria.

"Had Yar'Adua lived, and made Ibori his vice-president, he would have had a clear run to become president.

"Then Mr Ibori would have met Queen Elizabeth at the state house, instead of serving at her pleasure,"
by Antony Goldman a journalist

The whole Nigeria system is totally consumed by corruption, It is a shame. How come GEJ has not altered a word on this issue? For God's sake this is a National issue!!! Nigerians need to revolt against corruption. The Nigeria Judiciary system is a facade as far as I am concerned.
Re: The Amazing Wealth Of Ibori by UyiIredia(m): 9:18pm On Feb 28, 2012
Before anyone condemns Ibori, boldly make the claim that you have never sinned against your fellow man. I condemn the actions, not the man. Contrary to what most people here may think, I believe that there is hope for Mr Ibori. Me sef wey dey condemn the guy don commit exam malpractice (a grave offense) so wetin undecided

Quote from MAYOWAAK

James Onanefe Ibori won't lose much of his wealth. His beloved cousin is the Delta State Governor who has been stealing money since he took over from Ibori. He pays Ibori 200million a month since Ibori left power. Calculate that!

UK govt wants to collect the looted $250million and hand it back to Delta State government. Once the money gets to the Delta state, Emanuel Uduaghan will hand it back to Ibori. Case close.

Exactly
Re: The Amazing Wealth Of Ibori by Gentleboby: 9:53pm On Feb 28, 2012
Aaaaaaaa I sure all these properties listed are just  5% of what he might had stolen,

And the funny thing is that most of our criminal leaders hired our security men that suppose to protect our life for their selfish alone.

Nawaaaaoooo People kept saying the man is a good Governor in fact only God can save Nigeria, eee God bless Nigeria indeed.
Re: The Amazing Wealth Of Ibori by beeke(m): 9:57pm On Feb 28, 2012
I thought dat any time these thieves wins a bribe laden court case they will shamelessly come out to tell their gullible followers that "THIS IS A VICTORY FOR DEMOCRACY" why is it that since d news of his plea of guilt to corruption broke out none from the federal or state govt. has come out to sing the same chorus, i assume this one is not "A VICTORY FOR DEMOCRACY" anymore because from the President down to ordinary chancellors are criminals so no morale right to condemn what they know they are also guilty of.   Nigeria has long gone to the pigs

guess what ibori, alams amd dariye have in common? they looted the treasury, they were arrested in london, and they are all CHRISTIANS. Isn't that wonderful?

This is a very good observation. But let me explain something you may have never known. GOD'S JUDGMENT WILL START WITH THE VERY CHRISTIANS FIRST WHO KNEW THE TRUTH AND DID NOT OBEY IT. God's judgment will begin at the very house of God and MOST people there (apparently hypocrites) will NOT survive it. The ignorant muslim who did not know much about Jesus will not receive the same type of heavy punishment the so-called Christians will receive. This SOBERS me badly and makes me GENUINELY want to be like JESUS in truth and NOT a hypocrite.

ibori, alams amd dariye ARE hypocrites!! cry

Its high time Nigerians start burning property that belong to corrupt politicians and Criminals. It happened in Owerri and people learnt their lessons.
Re: The Amazing Wealth Of Ibori by mickeyjag(m): 12:46am On Feb 29, 2012
Only in Nigeria where a common Wickes cashier scams his way to the highest offices of the land. And all for what? Exclusive London property, expensive cars and mistresses while millions starve and wallow in their own sh*t back in Nigeria. How much does a man need really? We are being ruled by megalomaniac, low IQ ignoramuses.

If there ever was a case for Capital punishment, then this ugly man is it. Firing squad will be too good for this bas*tard.

No disrespect, what has religion got to do with this?

I was merely replying to E nice (m)'s original message that the main actors were CHRISTIANS. His original emphasis, not mine.

Morality and its sad consequences can also be religious matters as well. Was James Ibori not honored and almost respected at his church
in Delta State? Were the Priests or ministers there blind?

There goes your problem!
