Graduate Hawks Plantain in Suit by eghost247(m): 4:02pm On Feb 29, 2012 |
It is true whatever your hands find to do, do it well. But Nigerians will never accept what is gradually creeping into our system these days as jobs that were said to be meant for the uneducated are now being picked up by serious graduates of reputable schools. Some say its the Nigerian Joblessness, others say its a unique evolution in the business sector. Whatever is being said may be a little inconsequential, but what is the most important thing is that there is change. The man balancing plantain on his head doesn't really speak of style. That is just just the problem of inadequate job provisions to the Nigerian people. When you laugh, remember this. http://www.talkofnaija.com/News/newsdetailsone.aspx?NewsId=6B1DEF6A-CA27-4547-A700-4055414BEAC0 1 Like |

i hope it is a joke. if its true, then he betrayed education. You didn't go to school to do things conventionally, you must have learn to do conventional tings unconventionally at school. he could have a stand under an umbrella or repack the bananas or just display his literacy. He is abusing his literacy this way. 1 Like |

Re: Graduate Hawks Plantain in Suit by niddamugu(m): 10:35am On Mar 01, 2012 |
Good riddance to bad rubbish! If he can be well suited to sell plantains then he must be making plenty of money. I don't pity him one bit. He is only enjoying his money. Meanwhile, what is the guarantee that this guy is a graduate? What is the picture says is simply "a well-dressed man with a tray full of plantains on his head" and not "a graduate hawking plantain in suit". I believe this site is for intellectuals and not miscreants. |

Re: Graduate Hawks Plantain in Suit by Enoquin(f): 10:39am On Mar 01, 2012 |
His literacy did not tell him that the intense heat of the sun and his hawking in a suit are incompatible? |
Re: Graduate Hawks Plantain in Suit by maclatunji: 10:43am On Mar 01, 2012 |
Enoquin: 1. There is a difference between being literate and being educated. 2, There are is a difference between being schooled and being educated. All na hype sha. There are graduates who do this, it is no crime and there is nothing wrong with it. |

If he is a graduate& actually selling plantain chips, den he has betrayed dat he ddnt pass tru sch,but let sch pass tru him.Dere's nothing wrong in selling plantain per se,but a real graduate wud av fd ways of repackaging d way he sells d product, makin it luk more modern& urbane, not still sticking to ways dat evn secondary sch drop outs no longer employ in sellin such products.Shame on him |
Re: Graduate Hawks Plantain in Suit by OnlyRebel: 10:59am On Mar 01, 2012 |
His reasoning has indeed reached the point at low bottom. This is evident in the kind of education he benefited from. A half-baked educated fellow he is, they are ususally worse than the illiterate. Why the suit, the spectacles, the banana in the tray. Can't he get a website for banana distribution, across homes, offices around the city. I'm disappointed he can't think better, a product of pitiable education system. What a shame, a graduate indeed. |
