is there nothing to use money for that can better the living conditions of ekiti people than to build houses that can get burnt overnight? |

Who are these people trying to make fool out of this time again! 2 billion for Governor's house? Give me 200million naira and I will build the Governor a durable, decent and well-furnished house. This is another way of fleecing money. Just see how they sneaked these in into the budget. I can tell you that they will only put in 30 million naira for the proposed Civic Center, if not less, or even leave it uncompleted. |

I keep telling people that the problem we have in this country is not about party. It's unfortunate that some blind and myopic people think that PDP is our problem. Our problem is the ruling class whether PDP, ACN or APGA. But despite that we've had few leaders who have relatively denounced the status quo and gone ahead to make a difference. people like Donald Duke, Fashola, Chime, Chibuike Amaechi, Rochas Okorocha and a few others. If i hear anybody say that ACN is a progressive party, i'll put my newly invented slap 1.0 BETA software and give the person a dirty slap via IP address. I can authoritatively tell you that PDP is a more democratic party than ACN. ACN is probably the only party that does not hold primary elections. People are just handpicked by the god-in-general, Asiwaju of lagos. After they will come with their progressive mouth to rommance us with their progressive lies. Fashola is probably the only good thing to have happened to ACN. Others have failed woefully. By the time Fashola goes they won't have anybody to ride on. |

afam4eva: The guy is as reckless as his counterparts IMO. We can now conclude that no party can save us thus, there is a need to scrutinize each candidate without bias but are we truly objective as Nigerians? |

Problem is, the party thing, makes the leaders think they are tingods because they control certian areas. Asiwaju, OBJ, Edward Clerk, GEJ, Turaki, Sheriff, Annenih, Uba, IBB Udenwa respectable gentlemen Gangstars or cabal seek to control territories and leave crumbs for their masters-the people. The people are divided on parochial and primodal sentiment and do not see the need to vote out pdp, Acn, apga or cpc. Once the people vote out a party the one in nows that he has to be on his toes. TRIBALISM AND RELIGION HAS BLINDED US. |

I think a lot of people are obviously jumping to conclusion without doing their fact finding. I find it hard to believe any sane Governor will even think of spending that amount on things that are not productive. I think we will get to the bottom this matter soon. That is my contributions!! |

I blame the people. How can anyone be laughing this over. Get up all and fight! Fight for ur right! You dont need a government house or lagos house or civic centre! You need constant power, good road and good and cheap transport system. Good schools. Build capacity to thing of technology development. We do we allow these people mortgage our lives. What concerns us with building! Seriously! Protest! protest!! protest!!! people fight and fight. I cry for Ekiti and Nigerians. But at least we can get to this one easily than Aso rock. |

basadenet: All these yorooba governors should emulate the Eastern governors like Peter Obi of Anambra as attested by Mimiko, also others to emulate are Chibuike Amaechi of Rivers, Akpabio of Akwaibom. Yoreoba governors are merely improving on their poverty and illusion. Ofcos they have to pay back 70% of the Fed. allocation to Asiwajo the criminal, Oh I weep for all these poor Yoruba states. |

this same government provided Mass transit buses, while fg buses are still in limbo. This govt reduced tuition fees from about 120k(past administration) to 50k presently with other little levies at EKSU. This govt has introduced e-direct to the govt account, payment of internal revenue, reducing loss of revenue in transit, thereby increasing monthly govt revenue. Not forgeting their monthly stipend of 5k to senior citizens above 65. |

For all those who think Ekiti does not have the resources:wait and see. For all those accusing the governor: If you are in Ekiti and you truly don't see whats happening then no one's to blame. For all those net 'weight' super duper critics outside Ekiti,Sound sultan sang: 'na wetin u see wit ur eye,u go feel,no matta how u visualize am,e no fit b real,if u check ma condition,ko le ye won' The nature and composition of Ekiti is what is a challenge slowing the pace of this govt.People are apt to critic destructively while they tend to forget that 'he who wears the shoe knows where it pinches'. |

IF this is true, then I can happily conclude that ACN is just slightly different from PDP. They are both evil, only that one is a lesser evil. It is a fact in Ekiti that no Governor has ever attained second term, now it looks like Fayemi will follow suit. Infact only 1 governor has completed his 4-year term in the history of Ekiti. But can Fayemi do this kind of a thing? I want to believe the news is fake. |

Being one of Nigeria's poorest state, one wouldve assumed that the Ekiti state govt will focus on projects that will generate more funds for the state, create more jobs, and improve the welfare of the state's indigenes. But I guess a swanky office trumps all these. Talk about daylight fraud. |

Beaf: What is your problem with Ekiti state? The people of Ekiti are not food poor. They don't do 1-0-1 or 0-0-1 like the people of Delta. If Ekiti is so bankrupt, why was Delta sending their invalids to Ekiti to get free Education? |

A liaison office in Lagos is an absurd idea, one of those stupid legacies of past Military days these fooools in civilian clothes won't let go of. . Even If it costs N10 to build, It's stupid. I'll rather spend the money fixing part of the road from Ado to Lagos. This better be false. |
