Military Burial For Ojukwu, Why Not Abacha by initiate: 5:02pm On Mar 02, 2012 |
abacha was a serving 4 star general, he was the head of state of the federal republic, ojukwu was a separatist. was it to appease the igbo? i think its a subtle message to tell nigerians that they should wise up and follow ojukwu's step, and that nigeria would bhave been better for it today. |

Abacha was a Muslim. Muslims are buried immediately. Same thing that happened to Yar'adua. |

possible answer to the question The only reason the Federal Government took over Ojukwu burial was for no other reason than to checkmate MASSOB. Say he was in the military and he should be given a military burial and then take over the burial, Period. The Federal Government had a rough ride with the Ohaneze who wanted to use Ojukwu's burial to make a political statement, that was why Ojukwu's body was left in London, despite Ojukwu last wish to Bianca that he wished to be committed to mother earth 2 weeks after his death. A lot opf arm twisting went on and the Federal government won. MASSOB licks their wound and waits for the first anniversary of his death |
