@PROUD-IGBO Go read my posts again, I never said there were no Ibo's in Delta or Edo, EVERYONE knows there's is no region in Southern Nigeria where you wouldn't see ibos ( including random places like Ibadan ), rather what I implied was that Biafra wants to claim parts of the western and southern Niger Delta as their own which doesn't belong to them.

Do you mind stopping this madness of yours now. Are you already filled with Ogogoro this night?.
When and where did Bifra claim Edo land. The area known as Biafra is Igboland and and eastern Nigeria.  Go and read about the declaration of Biafra. Even the eastern Nigeria parliament that declared Biafra consist of Igbo and other easterners. I hope there are some empty skulls out there absorb this.
Re: Biafra Minus Niger Delta by Manny01: 10:47pm On Mar 03, 2012
@PROUD-IGBO Think before you type, the Anioma people are of mixed race between deltans and igbo people, but the land it self belongs to the deltans. If they Biafra Republic is finally free and they decide to join, they have to leave and make way for other citizens who will be kicked out of Igbo land.
Also from wikipedia:

"Ethnic identity crisis

In recent times, the Anioma people have become piqued with the Igbo of the southeast on whether the Anioma are of Igbo ethnic group or not. The diverse history of origin of the people have made it quite difficult to classify the people and continues to set the people against the Igbo of the southeast so that while the Igbo are of historical views that the people are part of the large Igbo community, the Anioma have discredited this argument maintaining that only a fragment of its people such as Igbuzo (Ibusa), part of Ogwashi-Uku, Ejeme Kingdom, the Isseles, and Oko are of Igbo ancestry. An argument that the Igbo continually debunk, though the anioma people speak a language that is very close to igbo, most of the communities can still trace their origin to the ancient benin kingdom."

Once again read my post before you reply, I'm also for the Republic of Biafra, but I don't want it through dishonest means. Let them do what their manifesto says.

^^^Go read your stupi.d posts again shocked shocked? You've got to be joking mate. I'm even thinking of suing you for the vital minutes of my life already wasted reading that drivel up there you call posts. Thanks, but no thanks.

So you equate the status of Igbos found in Delta and Rivers States with those found in random places like Ibadan? I don't know what drugs you're smoking but i think they're stating to affect your reasoning bruh undecided.

Don't mind his senseless posts. Am an Igbo from Delta state and a Niger deltan, yet he feels am not because am Igbo.

@Ngodigha1 Either you haven't been reading my posts carefully or you are just biased. True I made a mistake mentioning Edo and I'm sorry for that. But I've read the manifesto and I even posted some links so that everyone could read it as well. Go back to this website :http://www./ and read it. Not once did they mention other tribes, the only tribe mentioned there is Igbo.

I hoped for an intelligent conversion but since that is not possible I'll just leave the thread.

Please without any hurt feelings, I would like it if you could state your ethnicity. I hate the idea when moronic dingbats hide behind zones or region and throw wild and ethnical comments.

Also for everyone, I never said the anioma people weren't Ibo or delta (although wikipedia seems to think otherwise) but rather the land they occupy has always been for Delta state and so if they want to join Biafra, they will have to leave the land. if the republic of Biafra is formed do you think other main tribes e.g. yoruba people living there will be comfortable?? They will have to move as well.  an example of this kind of situation:

I know it will not take three posts before you realized the depth of your stupidity on this thread and head for exit lane. Please be advised that Biafra was eastern region and not mainly Igbo land. However, Anioma was in mid-western region and such instance did not make Anioma non-Igbo. I hope you need to apologize generally to Igbo people and particularly to Anioma peeps for such derogatory statement that land which housed Anioma belongs to Edo, Ishan, Itsekiri, Ijo and Urhobo of Delta State. What an arrant nonsense.

There are many instances where people of the same ethnicity are found in two neighboring countries. For example, Burundi and Rwanda or Germany with it neighbors. If Biafra had been allowed to exist peacefully or survived the onslaught of Nigeria and its allies, there could have been an instance of Igbo in Biafra and Nigeria. Unfortunately, it was not meant to happen. This time around, every Igbo person in Delta, Edo, Kogi,Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Benue, Taraba and Cross River States must be a citizen of the Republic of Igbo land or any alternative.

@DerideGull Yes I know biafra was an eastern region, what bothers me is that they don't mention other minorities, they talk about preserving Igbo culture but I haven't heard anything about the other little tribes, Do you know any MASSOB non- igbo leader?? THIS is what I'm talking about, I want them to commit 100% to the minorities and give them a voice or not to commit at all.

So that when the new state is formed, People wouldn't have this argument about one tribe controlling everything.

Western region, Mid-western region, Bendel State and Delta States did and do not own any pieces of land belonging the ethic groups which found themselves under the governmental authorities of mentioned regions or sates.

The essence of dividing Nigeria into regions, states, provinces and local government areas has absolutely nothing to doe with the ownership of the land or authoritative mainstay of ethnic groups.

If Biafra shows up tomorrow and the Igbo people, thus, Anioma wished to join their kinsmen across the River Niger, they do not have to move from their present land of abode. The only thing that will change is the boundary line the between Biafra and the country other Delta State indigenes will wish to join.

Be very careful with things you read from wikipedia.

Are Igbo also the keeper of other minorities in Biafra? Are you a true Nigerian? Since after the civil war, majority of minority ethnic groups in Biafra developed the tendency to deny Biafra and some Ikwerre decided to disassociate themselves from Igbo. Igbo shall not commit themselves for curse and also commit the minorities.

The minority had to join the majority to give themselves a voice. You must know that political patronage is always determined by political support.

Ndigbo are not funny people and will match on with or without non-believers.

Alh Harem has always been a jobless mutated bottom-feeding rectal worm. Whenever he approaches me with his hollow tribal tirades, I don't even bother comparing notes with him. What I do is just spit on his hideously deformed face like the lower creature he is.

Looks like a new dawn is coming, and the endemic parasites who used to benefit from a divided Eastern Region are now starting to really shiit their pants cuz the game might be over for them sooner than they think.

The only true Niger Delta states are Bayelsa, Delta, and Rivers state.

And there is an Igbo presence that dates back to before the white man even came to Nigeria. These groups include the Anioma, Ika, Ukwuani, Ekpeye, Ndoni, Egbema, Ogba and Ikwerre.

You cannot separate the Igbo from the Niger Delta, and we will NOT allow you to do that.

I didnt want to say this but politics played and other states were added.
Niger Delta in a map is Bayelsa, Delta and Rivers but from the politics in Nigeria South South should be six states excluding Ondo, Abia and Imo.
Ondo shouldn't even be on the list at all all! Those Oil wells in ondo should be given either to Edo or Delta states.
But we all know the politics behind Ondo state.
