You obviously don't know what you are talking about. China is "untochable" and extremely above any threat from US. breezy147: The bolded is false and could only be spout by those smoking propaganda of western supriority. China is the new world super power, we have to accept that in good faith. |

Osiris.212: Minitary wise China is a baby, US spent $1630 Billion on her Minitary a year compared to China's $698 Billion, check the World Minitary Power list, your China is 3rd while the US is still leading on 1st. It will take China yrs to catch up |

Bros, the amount of money spent on defence budget does NOT in any way signify prowess and should NOT be use as the ONLY yardstick in determining capabilities between countries. Do you know the unit cost of a 5th generation chinese fighter jet? Compare the prices between let say US F22 raptor to chinese J20 or Russian Sukhoi 47. The cost of a single US jet could triple russian and chinese plane of thesame class! The US military hardwares are usually very expensive, hence, the high cost of defence. Besides, the US is involved in multiple wars i.e Afghan and Iraq wars which requires large amonut of money to nourish. The last time I checked, the war in Iraq is costing US 1 billion dollar/day to sustain. -360 billion dollars*** When you subtract the cost of fighting in Iraq and Afghan and remove the extra cash needed to cushion the high price of purchasing hardwares in US in relation to China, you would be left with no option than to give it to China. Secondly, have you factor in the disparaties between personnel welfare and allowances? Do you know the amount costing China to maintain a soldier on average basis? How much is the minimum wage in US? How much is the cost of training or retraining a single pilot in US in relation to China? All the aforemention must be considered before arriving at a good conclusion . . .You don't just look at blind figures and shout eureka! Do the math bro, do the math! No one is arguing the military capability of US in warfare, but China has equally crossed the threshold and CAN NOT be threaten by US from any angle. Nuff justwise: |

Osiris.212: Point of correction, US is not fighting any war in Iraq anymore, US minitary pulled out last year. US has more advanced minitary hardware compared to China and China never denined that, not even Russia does. No matter how much it cost US to train their pilot and other minitary personnels, the truth is that they are far better than China and do your research and come and prove me wrong. No country in the world spend and produce the type of minitary hardware as US does, China need to match Russia before thinking of pairing with US. The cost of producing those hardwares is taken care of by the budget, so it doesn't matter how much it cost them, the fact still remain that they have the latest money can buy. |

I don't think China is asking or doing anything unreasonable, like always it's America fishing around with all their hypocritical rhetoric and anyone with nuclear explosives is by default never considered a baby. |

Its high time people realised that power; military, economic, industrial, politically is shifting to china, the less numbing the realisation will be. A new world order is evolving-China. China's importance in world politics cannot be over-looked and the world knows it. China is in the advanced stage of laser guided missiles and satellite target missiles. The military capabilities of these are crazy. No power, l repeat no power can defend against these now. The satellite target missiles can shut down satellites command and control functions and you all know this controls the missile defence system of the US. I repeat, the military capabilities of these missiles are crazy. If you are talking about cyber-security, no countries touches china with a long pole. The continuos pawning of US military and corporate serves are testament. Even almighty NASA is not exempted. And a very important strategy in warfare-dont make the wrong enemies. China is playing this to perfection. The US should learn from this. |

joudini:Get off computer games and face reality, your China can not stand up to Russia let alot the US. |

justwise: There should be a font called sarcastica. Back to the thread, perhaps the greatest armory in Russia is their nuclear warheads. Infact, they have the largest nuclear warheads in the world. Your supposed ignorance on laser technology is understandable. Its still thereotical technology but China is on the threshold of encapsulating it into modern warfare. America has spent billions of dollars on this technology that has continued to elude them, a recent example is their $140million laser blimp plane that wont even see a test, lol. Now, Russia controls these nuclear warheads through satellites as its command centre. China is at an advanced stage of deploying satellites target missiles. The US defense shield is satellite controlled. Can you cross-the-t on what China is planning? All the US military servers including FBI, CIA, homeland security, NSA, NASA has been rooted so many times by 'china based IPs'. Wherever you are in the world, look around you, 50% of it passed through China. I dont want to burst your bubble but you can do it yourself by researching on the internet. Its no longer cool to sound complacent. |

joudini: All your rant about China is just thereotical, its not different from what i have read from many dreamers like you before. |

^^ it must be cozy under that rock. Sure, the truth hurts but intentional ignorance about world issues verifiable just a click away wouldnt make it less numbing. Who the dreamer now? |

if china wants to raise hell in the world now theres only one thing to do Start a nuclear program!! |
Re: China: U.s Creating Tension In The Asia-pacific by Nobody: 1:41pm On Mar 17, 2012 |
Ok I just did the research. China has had nuclear weapons as far back as the 80s. They've had biological and chemical weapons since that time too. And they maintain strict secrecy on their warfare and security capabilities so no one can fully estimate how deadly they can be. They should not be messed with! |

China may be behind the US. But lets not forget that sometimes like we have seen in sports, the 2nd or 3rd best can beat the champion. |
