I went 4 anomaly scan 2day as adviced by my able nurse kaffy,everythin went well n our lil proudy is doin fine wit alot of gymnastic n d sonologist was like 'u calm down a bit now' lol! But we couldn't get 2 see d sex which I'm not happy about...And again GA says 33wks n EFW is 2.1kg,I'm not bothered about d GA cos I'm sure about my LMP..My concern now is d weight o,hope is nothing 2 worry about?..My happiness is dat presentation says CEPHALIC n placenta is FUNDALLY SITED;NOT LOW LYING unlike d first time...Sorry about d long epistle,I say make I give my e-family full details lolz.!

@ proudmom38..Maybe lil proud is a girl , according to the dr that did my scan, he said boys little things shows easily even when doing gymnastic, but girls own takes time. Don't worry just buy unisex products for now.

your baby must be very 'shy'

my baby was shy too but the sonographer asked me to raise my waist/pelvis (i was still on the bed) and shake it lightly from side to side to 'annoy' my baby. she also told me at a point to lie on my left side for a minute and then later lie on my right side. with these few movements, she was able to see EVERYTHING she wanted (including the sex) and also take the neccessary measurements she required.

you seem to have scans done regularly, so by now you should have seen the sex of your baby considering how far gone you are.

you should try the movements i have described the next time you go for a scan and hopefully, you should be able to see the sex.

You are right, the first time I checked,the sonographer wasn't really experience jare, he said my baby was crossing his leg, but the recent one is so experience and he took his time, checked from different angles nd did different method before he got my baby sex... my baby dey ova shy and gentle

Proudmum I guess ur baby's weight is ok! As for the sex, just don't worry urself just buy unisex for now.I got a clear picture of sex at 36 weeks when I already bot unisex stuffs but I was able to get the unique cloth for naming after scan. And my baby was 2.76kg at 36 weeks so I guess we are good

BS: thanks alot u guys. Was having meustral like cramps pain that were coming and going eveRy 20mins on sun morning. Wen the cramps were getting more painful I went t the hospital at 11pm sunday with my mum and DH. Was checked by d nurses and was told my cervix wasn't fully dialated (just 1cm)that was wen my show came. All these while I was still contrsting. At 7:30am or so the doc checked me and he said d contractions where not strong enough and I was placed on drip. That was wen I started seeing hell. Lol . By 11am wen the pain ws unbearable DH went to call the doc and I was taken to d delivery room. Doc said I shld push wen ever I felt d contractions. While pushing my LO's head was almst out but d placenta cord was around it and he qucikly told me to stop pushing, he quickly removed d cord and I pushed again and my prince emerged. DH was in d delivery room watching everything o.lol he just kept praying for me. Doc said I wld hav delivered since but tge cord was holding my bby's neck. I just praise God .
