I had similar experience for my first baby. woke up one evening and saw red clots with blood stains went for a scan and it was only one gestational sac left. I didn't do anything oo I wasn't in any form of stress it just happened. I continued with my normal daily activities till I gave birth.

Good morning. Please as anyone experience this before while pregnant. My last LMP was August 16. I did my first scan last week Friday. It shows baby was 8 weeks, 2 days +- 2 weeks.
The next day I slept and woke up to see blood gushed out. I went to repeat scan on Sunday. The machine saw two gestational sac separately. One is not well defined. Scan shows I was 6 weeks , 2 days . Yesterday morning, I saw much blood that the first time coming out without cramps but cloted blood . It was much this time , I was bleeding.
Went for another scan, they saw one gestational sac has collapsed which is why I saw the bleeding.
The sonographer saw another gestational sac with a viable festus measuring 4 weeks and 5 days .
My question is this , is it possible to be pregnant of twins and had one as miscarriage and still carrying the remaining one till delivery . Has anyone experienced this before. I was told to repeat scan in two weeks time . I has a miscarriage at 6 weeks in February this year. All my experience then was totally different from this.
This is strange to me . I need people who have experienced this to help me out. I was advised to be on bed rest at the hospital which am already observing.

The tightening and weight on the pelvic region is too much now.

Good morning mums and mums-to-be. I'm new here and will like some clarification. I removed my implant on 15th of August and saw a bit of blood on 17/18. For 2 weeks now I noticed some changes in my body indicating I'm pregnant so I did a urine test which showed negative (I did it in the afternoon so I'm not sure if that's why). I later treated myself for malaria since the test was negative. Last week I did another urine test since I was pretty much convinced I'm pregnant and it was positive. The issue I'm having now is determining how far long I am. Does the little blood I saw on 18th of August count as my last period? Is it possible to go for scan now to know (I read that it's not good in the first trimester) or go for blood test (not sure if that can detect how far I am)?

Sorry for the long post o, but my first pregnancy was around 4-5 months before I even noticed. Even though my boy is doing okay I still feel bad for unknowingly taking things that might have been harmful so I'm trying to avoid that.

You can get a scan done to know how far gone u are, it is necessary... U can also do d blood test . Start taking ur folic acid and stay away from harmful stuffs.

I made this post in 2017 how they broke down the costs for us at Igando general so everybody pays it irrespective of the stage of delivery and you are given all the items it covers, they will even tell you in the delivery room that madam this is your delivery pack as they are opening the pack. The account dept peeps do explain in details on that Tuesday of registration, as at last year they still did maybe this coro season affected how they address mothers now

Igando Maternal and child center (MCC) is simply the storey building(s) inside Igando General hospital where mothers and children are attended to. So all is still the same.

Good morning Mamas, I was a silent reader before I finally register last week. pls what is your intake about using castor oil to induce labour?My first EDD is 12/10 and second was 7/10, meanwhile I started having contractions which was not strong for d past 4 days now and went to my clinic for check up on Wednesday morning and d nurse said I was 4cm dilated that I shouldn't go back home.so I slept there,they later came to check me again still 4cm and I'm no more having any contractions except thick mucus that I saw yesterday morning. this is the third pregnancy and I always use drip to induce my labour @4cm which I told in this new clinic but they said they were not allow to do that till reach 8cm. Although am @home waiting for God's time.pls Mamas help me put mouths ���

I was told to stop folic at my antenatal o and switch to pregnacare

Mama, I heard castor oil makes babies pass meconium don't know how true. What you need now is exercise sha, climb stairs if you have one, dance , take a long walk........
I asked a neighbour and she said it helped to kick start her labour without any issues but she pooed watery poo for like 4times before labour started. So if you feel upto it, you can give it a try since you are 4cm already.

Congratulations on your BFP! What's is pepper soup without the spices? If you think you will be OK without them, splurge on! Otherwise, better be safe than sorry. Las las you will be alright.

Please ask what the spices consist of. Uda and uziza seed is a big no. Some seeds used in making the spice are not safe for early pregnancy
