1.Depends on the relationship of the trio.if the 'samaritan' is elderly and related to the couple,nothing wrong per se.however the mode of presentation of the said amount matters.if its some couple of thousands (not in big tens of K's)no prob,but if its huge,then the samaritans presentation is 'haughty',demeaning to the woman's husband as if saying "you aint gat what it takes to pamper babes like your woman".
