Olusegun Babatunde a.k.a Mode Nine has revealed he just signed to a new record label,Monarch Records.The prolific M.C who is fresh off the New Edition Concert didn’t spill out all the details of the deal but he said he was comfortable with the situation.

Modo has been working hard in the studio on his next album titled ‘Commercial Break’ which already has singles like ‘Oga‘ tearing up the airwaves.As you may know,Mode 9 was formerly signed to Payback Time Records,then Questionmark records before setting up his own imprint,Redeye Muzik.This will be the Third record deal of Mode Nine‘s career.

No release date have been made public for the forth-coming album but when it is,y’all will be the first to know.

Lots of people drop comments without proper findings. Ojb & Marvelous Benji both have their own recording label before they signed for Kennis. Modenine signed for Monarch records does not mean he's broke. Its a joint owner between Modenine and Monarch. The deal was sealed last November after Modenine dropped heavy lines that make other rappers bow. His currently working with Kraft & Dakta Frabs as the producer for the label and also featuure act such as 2face, 9ice, face, X-Y and Ibiyemi on his 4th coming Album. Watchout for the Lyricist.
