Egg Donation does not affect the donor's future fertility; however doing it just for money is another moral issue entirely.In the US where egg donors can be paid as much as $5000, some students actually become donors to fund their education!
Here, lots of family members often [b]quietly [/b]and freely donate some of their eggs to infertile loved ones; some other ladies are blessed to have close friends donate some to them, while others have no choice but to pay would-be donors. When you hear of some 50+ year old women having babies, it MAY have been thanks to donor eggs (I'm by no means knocking natural miraculous conceptions at any age though). Some payment may be the only way to encourage more donors but Egg Donation can be an immeasurable gift from one woman to another.

I don't blame you at all! Even DNA aside, it's quite an invasive procedure but I think it's a good development that more and more Nigerians are becoming aware that such an option exists.
