Hello pple,am a kogi state indegene...i scored 55 in my putme and i put in 4 law bt d cutoff is 57...my 2nd preferred course is mass comm n d cutoff is 55...can i b admitted fortunately in2 law or will b admitted automatically in2 any course my cutoff fit in 2? Or i shuld apply 4 a change of course 2 mass com? Or i shuld change 2 a lesser cutoff course? Pls advice me

Kogi state university has given admission to 3500 students for 2012/2013 academic sessions. I read it in National Mirror newspaper. Sm1 shld try and give d link to check d list ooooo, cos d link is not in d paper..

Kogi State University, Ayangba, has admitted 3, 500 fresh students for the 2012/2013 academic session.

The Public Relations Officer of the University, Mr. Joshua Edogbo, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) yesterday in Lokoja that the new intakes were among the 19, 305 applicants that sat for the post-UTME test conducted by the school on July 7.

He said those offered admission scored 45 percent and above, adding that this year’s admission was strictly based on merit.

Edogbo also said that 22, 235 applicants made the university their first choice but that there was no way the school could exceed the 3, 500 capacity approved by the National University Commission (NUC).

The spokesman explained that the number of students showing interest in the university had been on the increase in recent years, saying that there was the need for stakeholders so sit down and look into the possibility of expanding the space for more qualified students to come in.

Guys stay calm, admission list into ksu is not out for naw, u will av to wait till sept or oct be4 u will plan to check for ur names. Dis is because the skul exams will soon comes up nd after d exams will d skul av time to arrange the list of names. Stay connected nd best of lucks to u all.
