The paper jumped the gun, Madueke was in the process of buying the property, the deal had not been finalized when she got wind of the paper's investigative efforts she abandoned the bid. Where did she get the money? |

Why didn't the honorable minister press for damages, or was nothing damaged in her reputation? I know that I was on the verge of believing that initial story and started resenting her for it, especially as there are so many unanswered questions around her integrity (fuel subsidy brouhaha). I think she ought to press for damages. Gladly, she has cleared the windscreen now and we can see her for who she is... |

I know that I was on the verge of believing that initial story and started resenting her for it, especially as there are so many unanswered questions around her integrity (fuel subsidy brouhaha). I wouldn't think that she wold want to open that can of worms. An enterprising Austrian law firm could/would subpoena the travel and passport records of her and her husband which would leave egg on her face. how could they explain several trips and extended stays in that country? |
