How effective is radio in Nigeria, as compared to the standard obtainable abroad?

I think they are trying. Only few Radio Station are making us proud...

It will be nice to hear more music of Nigerian artists based abroad on Nigerian stations radio/tvs for one.
Artists like dchukx rules, but only heard his 'my nation' few times in his own mother country Nigeria while stations in Europe and America play his music more often
