kettykin: Every right thinking Nigeria should be warned of the Kind of Government ACN will impose on Nigeria if theb ever get elected to an Importatnt National Post,

This is a Party that will rather waste N 2 Billion on the birth day party of a single Individual whose only Contribution was that he was a former Governor of Lagos State and will wake up the Next Morning and asking the President to resign whose only crime is that a construction company renovated a church in his village.

He is no longer in government unfortunjately. The President should be more accountable.
"It is worth recalling that former Petroleum Minister in the 1980s, Prof. Tam David-West, was jailed for receiving a mere gift of a wristwatch and a cup of tea from a government contractor. If such was done in the past, it is now more urgent and expedient in an administration that promises to transform the polity. Reneging on this self-appointed mission is suggestive that some people are, indeed, above the laws of the land. The laws of the land as enshrined in the Constitution and other statutory books should always be respected and obeyed."

maclatunji: ^ThisDay is the most pro-Federal Government newspaper in Nigeria. If that newspaper is angered by GEJ's little show at the church opening, it should show you that even amongst his friends, the man is becoming a 'liability'.

HNosegbe: For me, this issue transcends the legality or morality of the matter. I am more concerned with the crass naivete portrayed once again by the "Lamb of Aso Rock". It appears he still doesn't get the fact that every single utterance or gesture he makes as president is capable of misinterpretation. Just another presidential faux pas, in my opinion, but not impeachable.

Oh well, we deserve the kind of leaders we get, apparently.

fair enough

I just have to laugh at these people who think they are defending their President. The man has goofed and nothing more nothing less. That a construction company built a mansion for IBB does not make what GEJ did to be right. Or does it? This is a President who openly Solicited for bribe which IBB never did. Ok come to think of it......what is now the difference between an IBB and GEJ If GEJ (an elected President) that is preaching transformation is behaving like the dictators of the past? What is he transforming then? Hahahaha....may be he is transforming his pocket and the pocket of his Ministers and advisers.
