A dynamic publishing house seeks energetic editor for their monthly magazine.

ROLE:
The candidate will need to drive the magazine's editorial strategy and be accountable for overseeing and managing the editing, writing and design of the magazine. We are looking for an enthusiastic, intelligent, proactive individual with a passion for writing and must have an informed interest in the global world of entertainment and politics.

THE APPLICANT MUST BE RESIDENT IN ABUJA.

REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent grasp of the English language and a proven track record in magazine journalism (at least two years’ experience) is a must.
• Ability to plan and research, come up with ideas, suggestions and always write to deadline
• Very strong writing, editing and proofing skills
• Work well under pressure with an ability to keep to very tight deadlines
• Have a keen eye for detail and a passion for doing things well
• Ability to grow and develop the editorial content of the magazine
• Experience in conducting interviews
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Good time management skills
• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word
