Religion can be used as the excuse to spread hate by saying it is 'God's word'!
Any derogatory terms used to deprive others of their basic rights ARE HATEFUL TERMS.

Sodomites have rights to 'sodomize' themselves.
If you infringe upon their rights to sodomize themselves in the azzzes. . . you are invading their privacies.
In defending their own rights. . . they may turn against you and insult your own religion.

The difference is that the religious person is condemning a person’s nature whist the “sodomite” is castigating an institution. “Bad mouthing” is infantile and wrong on so many levels anyway but often times it’s retaliation to an institution that some feel discriminates against them for their very being which they cannot help. I understand it’s painful when people insensitively hurt another’s beliefs but knowing how painful such attack can be I wonder if believers can at least sympathise with those “sodomites” that are condemned for their nature. Some religious people have argued that no one is born a homosexual, well whilst that debate remains on-going . . . . there is no debate about the fact that no one is born a Christian or a Muslim so if it’s so easy to shed this quoted “unnatural” behaviour is it thus easy for a Muslim and a Christian to depart from their faith which they accept as integral to their being?

I understand that people should be judged by their actions, not his attitude toward life. No person is good or bad for being gay, being white or black, being Christian, Islamic or traditionalist. Discrimination occurs when, regardless of a person's behavior is judged by his condition.
