NorthSharp: I think you have embarked on a journey laced with failures. It appears you are trying to defend an indefensible in Hausa-Fulani as an ethnic group because there is nothing such as Hausa-Fulani ethnicity in Nigeria. Unless you tend to play along the line of ignorance, you can joined the crowd on the unintelligent rant about an imaginary ethnic group which does not exist. Again, Hausa-Fulani is not an ethnic group in Nigeria but a mainstay in fool’s delight. |

jmaine: Like I said earlier, phuck off back to your village - you silly Ibibio donkey. I don't give care about what a guy called "Tinubu" did - if you had a problem with him, why didn't you create a thread about it?? This thread is about the uneducated "first lady." If you guys can moan about Fulani refugees settling in Cross River - I have a right as a LAGOSIAN to tell you to phuck off back to your village, pillock. Get a life, or go jump in the Lagos lagoon - if you have problem with the way the state is run. No one invited you there in the first place. |

NorthSharp: Okay, touche. (on the bolded words) What is fair is fair, no doubt. I would however tell you that I personally don't believe that Alj-harem is from Lagos. Infact I STRONGLY believe he is from the North (Kanuri specifically). Ndu-chucks is DEFINITELY a Northerner (maybe fulani) because I don't think that all Fulanis speak Hausa. The point I'm trying to make is that if a term like "Hausa/Fulani" can be acceptable in the Nigerian politico-ethnic lingo, it should also be fair to verbally attack BOTH groups. The point I made about the other northern minority groups cannot easily be impeached by comparing them with southern minority groups relationship with their majority neigbhors. Apart from edoyad and emmke (or is it emiye), most northerners here simply play dead with regards to their ethnicity. They also tend to ally more with mainstream Northern political positions, which explains why you have the Northern governors' forum, but there is no southern governors' forum. That "One North" is what is interpreted (fair or not) in the south as "Hausa/Fulani". I would not be so fast to discard that interpretation/categorization. |

Disclaimer: Alj-harem is NOT from Lagos, neither is he "Awori/Egun." I have chatted to him about Lagos on NL before and the guy seems to be clueless about the state. I don't personally think anyone who's originally from Lagos, and has allegedly lived there for a long time would be as clueless as Alj-harem is about Lagos. I wasn't raised in Lagos, but I know more about its history than Alj-harem. Negro_ntns and Isale_gan are bonafide Lagosians. |

Re: Fashola Condemns Blocking Of Major Roads During Dame Patience's Visit To Lagos by aljharem(m): 8:56pm On Apr 14, 2012 |
Regardless of what and who Alj harem is, the fact is that he (Alj harem) does not care which group is which or who and where he is from as it is irrelevant to any discussion. Contrary to what most Igbo posters think, I have Igbo blood in me and I love the Igbo ethnic group like my own and I have been a strong defender of the Igbo course (check my post); but I would not allow some Igbo elements insult yorubas or hausa. Just like I would not allow Yoruba or Hausa or fulani to Insult Igbos (again check my previous post). How I wish my eastern brothers can read into my post rather than just attacking me all the time Yes Alj harem is the most hated Nairalander but I want to make something clear, I do not hate any group yes I might be teasing others at time or better still "revenge" But in reality hate is for those that have no life. I see what One Naira, Afam4eva etc write on NL even though I know them real life but what can I say, they are not like that real life. Lets disagree to agree. One Nigeria !!! 1 Like |

Onlytruth: Bros, you know I do not pull punches and will not want to dial into political shenanigans the northern crews have used to their political advantage. It is unbelievable naïveté on part of southerners in Nigeria to wallow into political consciousness of the goofy Hausa-Fulani political lingo. When they do not have numbers, it becomes conveniently necessary to invoke the term Hausa-Fulani. But in the other hand, the same northern crews with their southern allies shall leave no stone unturned to strike a difference among ethnicity in southern Nigeria even when one does not exist. |

jmaine: Worry about those pillaging the wealth of your home state, and leave Lagos alone. You and I don't belong in the same sentence, and I'll definitely say it to your mashed up face - and knock your head off your shoulder after. If you don't like Tinubu, take your beef to him - and stop exposing your ignorance on this thread. This thread is a about a fat, uneducated, and uncivilized woman who disrupted the activities of a state - and the executive governor has every right to critique her, and express the grievances of the people, he governs. That's what this thread is about - and if you disagree with him; go jump in the Lagos lagoon; phuck out of the state; or go hug a nuclear reactor in fukushima - the choice is yours. I could care less about your state of origin - I know you're a Yoruba hater. |

jmaine: I don't know how you pass exams - when you can't stick to the topic at hand. This is the title of the thread: Fashola Condemns Blocking Of Major Roads During Dame Patience's Visit To Lagos What has the title got to do with a guy named: "TINUBU?".... Like I said earlier, if you have a PROBLEM with Tinubu - create a thread for that - and stop arguing off base. What's your IQ again? And what's the correlation between the topic at hand, and ACN? I could care less if you like ACN or NOT - that's your business - but you can't change the fact that ACN is in power - and it's not changing anytime soon. I know Yoruba hater because your comments show you're. |

kutchs: I did not hear Fashola complain when an unelected Tinubu brought Lagos to a standstill celebrating his BD. I remember how i stayed in the traffic for ova 3hrs just bc of tinubu. Fashola shud shut up.Exactly my sentiments. A friend couldn't attend a critical business meeting in V.I because he was held up at Surulere during Tinubu's BD. Our dearest governor didn't say anything about our pain. I am beginning to sense that Fashola has an axe to grind with Jonathan. |

jmaine: If you want to have a discourse about the bolded part of your argument - why can't you open a separate thread for this? This thread is about DAME PATIENCE AND HER VISIT TO LAGOS. Stop making yourself silly, and incoherent - and stop arguing off base. If you hate ACN and Tinubu, that's your cup of tea - I don't know who Tinubu is, and I could care less about ACN. Stick to the topic at hand, mate. You can fault the governor for speaking out for the people he governs - that what good leaders do - and that's the topic we're having a discourse about. |
