Opera mini seems to be the best but it doesn't download well,so what's the best browser for blackberry that can download audio and video very well and fast?.... Thanks

I also have a similar problem. I use Torch 2 and I subscribe to Mtn complete monthly plan of N3,000 but my problem is that I don't know how to download video from youtube and other sites. Also some video that play successfully on my android don't open on my blackberry device. Pls someone sbould assist me

I browse normally with opera then do my downloads with UC browser. Its the fastest.

Opera for web surfing, UCweb for downloading large files , cos if it fails u can always resume.

bolt is no more working, so it's better you stick with opera, qq brower or ucweb

The best browser for bb is ucweb browser, It downloads with the speed of light, you can even surpass the mtn 200mb limit.Download UC Browser for Blackberry from wap.ucweb.com using Blackberry Default Browser to Download it

I love the android os but my main issue with the devices are their limited data plans (am a heavy data user), so am safer with blackberry devices. I will make the leap to androids when their data plans improve.

Downloaded d ucweb on my bb using my default browser,bt it seems they r charging me from my airtym instead of my data plan.please som1 shud help me.I use glo 1400 plan on bb

Its from your settings,go to settings,look for advanced options,then look for TCP/IP,then enable the APN,then write blackberry.net in the APN space,that should work.

Wonder how you folks do it. Ucweb never connects except there is credit, meanwhile opera connects through my BIS. Ucweb has been the most useless browser for me

Go to settings-preferences-network-default access point & choose BIS(default). Disable the APN.

I once had dis problem, U̶̲̥̅̊ Я probably using opera mini 6.5 for blackberry. Try to find earlier versions (6.0 or 6.1), i got v.6.0 from xchanger.mobi, U̶̲̥̅̊ will need the blackberry desktop software to install it or U̶̲̥̅̊ can alternatively search for opera 4.4 for blackberry @​ m.opera.com and download (its the old variant though).

Are you sure you saved the new settings? Mine was on the same page with yours till i changed the settings.

@Pa22, exactly. Operamini runs smoothly on BIS, you don't need to make any changes. Go to www.opera.com/download. Select your phone type and model, download and run, simples.
