Till end of last season, Alaba and Boateng were the preferred CB for Hansi Flick

For Naggelsman Upamecano and Lucas are. Sule has even been played at right back to show he's not one of the first choice when everyone is fit. He's a German international at his peak so wants a club where he can be sure starter
