larride: State policing is an invitation to local Warlordism, personal militia and anarchy. Imagine Wike and Yahaya Bello in charge of State Police. It will be anarchy and assassinations all day. I always insist that Federal Government is a better performing Govt than State Govt who can't even fulfill basic obligations like salary payments. Why, because Federal Govt is answerable to the International Community, the UN, International creditors and investors, and international human rights bodies like Amnesty International etc. State Govt is answerable to no one. 11 Likes |

patrickmuf:Too bad we are still probably going to be dependent on another b grade foreign coach again, See Aliou cisse and rigobert song knocking out those north Africans despite losing their first leg ties, Well personally I don't see why people should lament on Nigeria not making the WC cause if we couldn't beat the worst assembled Ghanaian teams in years with our Haram long ball taktics, Only God knows the kind of heartbreak they'll later dish to fans in Qatar, At least politicians and yeyebrities won't have another tangid reason all in the name of going to offer support in December, Let's leave football and face our problems 1 Like |

izzou: Damn! This is bad. I think the government giving out whopping 20,000 tickets for free was a recipe for the disaster. While it was good for the morale of the team, it equally invited different people of unscrupulous character to the stadium; a whole lot of people who had no business with football were there and they definitely spearheaded caused that mini riot. This one go really affect our relationship with footballing bodies. We fit chop lengthy ban so o. 1 Like |

March 31 2022 A few days ago putin announced that Russia will only sell their gas in rubles, starting March 31, very smart move, it's stupid selling gas in a currency that you cant use, my excitement is that its going to majorly affect america, they need the dollar to maintain it's relevance globally or their economy will crumble, Russia's decision will change the game completely, unlike Gaddafi or Saddam, Putin has nuclear weapons Evidence of it's effects are already obvious, weeks ago, 1 usd almost 140 ruble after sanctions, today its 1 usd = 96 ruble Given that most European countries are dependent on Russian exports, they will have to void their own sanctions to prevent uprising in their countries, irony is that sanctions were placed on Russia to instigate uprisings it's baffling that European policy makers didn't see this coming and even have the gall to talk about contract violations, deluded fools 8 Likes |

Jodera: Is Eguavoen not wise enough to know that the Ghanaians will come with spoiling tactics and hope to park bus, and Nigeria as the home team should have the bulk of possession? This problem may be even deeper than that. I suspect they don't have lawnmowers at that stadium because I did not see any lawnmower lines on that pitch. If you ask me, they laid that pitch few days ago and reasoned that they won't need lawnmowers to cut it before the match if they lay it with few days to the match. If a pitch has been cut, even a week ago, you will see the lines. Those fools didn't have lawnmower jare, and I doubt they had sprinklers cos I didn't see any moisture on that pitch to make the ball move. This looks like typical Nigerian cutting corners, building stadium to show-off with no consideration for the main Koko why the stadium was built. Like a Governor that will build road without drainage. Addo the Ghanaian coach brought off Jordan Ayew for a CM at half time knowing it's easy work to park bus on that pitch for the second half 2 Likes |

Ibime:Player attributes like holding ball to the ball too long when you're supposed to release a simpe pass, unnecessary dribbling to show off or throwing disastrous long balls to the target man in front when it's your main instruction, Senior man Bad pitch or not if we were good enough (or had good coaching) We would have buried those banku eaters yesterday, That loss just saved us from upcoming disgrace 3 Likes |

Ibime:it's just so bad really. And yet they would want to blame all these European-based players like Emmanuel Dennis for not turning up when even the environment is not even conducive for them to play in. Naija na error everywhere. If such a crucial match as this can have this kain issue, then there's no hope anywhere oo |

Kilishihunter:I don't think it's that easy with that nature of the pitch. The early goal they had already signed our fate because of that stupid pitch. You need to have the ball under your control before you'll even think of doing anything and that pitch didn't help in that regard at all. Even to push ball run na wahala not to talk of to pass. Even we wey dey here dey play street football, that pitch go hard us, how much more those European based players. I still think we might have done something tangible in the world cup tho (at least progressing from the group stage) 1 Like |

patrickmuf: It's either Eguavoens stupidity, or I'm not ruling out the possibility they don't have lawnmowers. Nothing will surprise me in Nigeria. We saw the farce at the Olympics. That pitch has never been cut since it was laid, otherwise you will see the lines on the pitch |

Jodera:I'm not saying the pitch wasn't bad, The Kumasi pitch even looked better than it but just look at the opposition, This Ghana team was woeful, bad and had poor technique, Their only strength was parking the bus and a good GK, the Frontline was blunt minus the fact Andre ayew was suspended, If not for that fluke goal Im very sure they wouldn't have any shot on target, Okay even though the field was still restricting the ball's movement, at least they switched to long balls to utilize osimhen's strength and speed, but at least we saw the quality of some deliveries and shook our heads in disgust, Time was ticking fast but there was little show of desire, it was just as if they thought we would play extra time with that draw, In past years we have headed to worse pitches in Kenya, Ethiopia and CAR to grab wins so I don't really take the pitch as an excuse 2 Likes 1 Share |

nihilistjnr: Sorry to say bro but you are capping heavily. 100%. Sharia Law was introduced into the country by the Governor of Zamfara state in Oct 27 1999 by Ahmed Sani Yerima and 11 other Muslim populated states followed suit. Yes, the man said there was 10 Northerners in the “NORTHERN REGION CIVIL SERVICE” when he joined and a promulgated a policy which is “Northern First” in filling of key position in the Northern Civil Service. He clearly said where they can’t get competent northerners to fill any post, they will hire other Nigerians or expatriate on a contract basis. The main goal is the capacity building of his people. It is not tribalism. It is putting your people first. You see if you read your second paragraph again and part of your third paragraph, you will see you are practically supporting what I’m saying. The country was running a regional system of government and the man was firmly prioritizing his people in his region and you are trying to blame him for it today. Nowhere in his speech did he mention the “Federal Civil Service”. He was clear in that interview that he was talking about the Northern Civil Service. Unless you can bring evidence that the West and East were bringing people from other position to fill key post in their region, you have no case against of tribalism against Ahmadu Bello. That he even decided to remain the Northern Region Premier instead of being the Prime Minister after independence should tell you everything you need to know about the man. 5 Likes |
