Till today we are still having debates about State Policing. I am a big advocate for State policing.

I think I had a conversation about this subject matter with ibime during the EndSars protest and he was adamantly against state police.

Every policy will come with its cons and pros and it must be considered very well before implemented.

ibi.me made mention of something then, can you trust these current crop of Governors with the absolute power of police? Knowing that these same Governors are owing salaries of their work force, what do you think will happen when they now added the police to their payroll?

Maybe they thought they might sneak in a goal then it'll be difficult for Ghana to peg one back due to the nature of the pitch, but god of soccer get other ideas

But if that's true, then Eguavoen is a very very stupid coach. He didn't even have an away goal to secure things in case something unexpectedly happens(like Ghana scoring first) but he knew Nigeria's strength is always ground balls and most of our players are European-based.

This problem may be even deeper than that. I suspect they don't have lawnmowers at that stadium because I did not see any lawnmower lines on that pitch. If you ask me, they laid that pitch few days ago and reasoned that they won't need lawnmowers to cut it before the match if they lay it with few days to the match. If a pitch has been cut, even a week ago, you will see the lines. Those fools didn't have lawnmower jare, and I doubt they had sprinklers cos I didn't see any moisture on that pitch to make the ball move. This looks like typical Nigerian cutting corners, building stadium to show-off with no consideration for the main Koko why the stadium was built. Like a Governor that will build road without drainage.

Addo the Ghanaian coach brought off Jordan Ayew for a CM at half time knowing it's easy work to park bus on that pitch for the second half

Eguavoen and the players trained on that pitch at least 3 times before the match...I am certain that no how bad and corrupt the country is, if Eguavoen and the players were uncomfortable with the length of the grass, it would have been trimmed...

I don't think it's that easy with that nature of the pitch. The early goal they had already signed our fate because of that stupid pitch. You need to have the ball under your control before you'll even think of doing anything and that pitch didn't help in that regard at all. Even to push ball run na wahala not to talk of to pass. Even we wey dey here dey play street football, that pitch go hard us, how much more those European based players.

I still think we might have done something tangible in the world cup tho (at least progressing from the group stage)

I'm not saying the pitch wasn't bad, The Kumasi pitch even looked better than it but just look at the opposition, This Ghana team was woeful, bad and had poor technique, Their only strength was parking the bus and a good GK, the Frontline was blunt minus the fact Andre ayew was suspended, If not for that fluke goal Im very sure they wouldn't have any shot on target, Okay even though the field was still restricting the ball's movement, at least they switched to long balls to utilize osimhen's strength and speed, but at least we saw the quality of some deliveries and shook our heads in disgust, Time was ticking fast but there was little show of desire, it was just as if they thought we would play extra time with that draw, In past years we have headed to worse pitches in Kenya, Ethiopia and CAR to grab wins so I don't really take the pitch as an excuse

None of anything you've said here makes sense or matches up to history.

If you listen to the man himself speak, there were only 10 northern civil servants in the North when he joined. With Igbo people taking the other roles on merit. So which retaliatory action was he taking? Amadu Bello himself was so concerned about how poorly qualified his people where that the man was actually campaigning and working against independence at the time

Secondly, The Federal Government predates independence by at least 6 years. Amadu Bello also made sure that federal government jobs in the North only went to Northerners. He's the one that brought Shari'a law to Nigerian constitution. He literally had such little interest in running a federated nation that despite being the head of the NPC in 1960, the biggest party in parliament at the time, he sent his number 2, Tafawa Balewa to be Prime Minister, whilst he remained the Premier of the Northern region.

So please don't tell me other regions were doing the same, when it's clear that Northerners weren't even equipped to compete in their own region.
