Now that we have got the nerves out of the way, Pep has to instruct his players to be more direct. Bernardo Silva is becoming predictable as they expect him to cut inside and we don't have KDB anymore to occupy that space. I love Foden but he is yet to show me he reads the game like that.

On the other hand, his close control and incisive runs would be instrumental in creating the gravity we need to shrink this back 7 line they are playing.

It is a game of fine margins and even though Inter have been brave and followed their play-out patterns to almost perfection, we have been able to nick the ball off of them showing me that we are pressing them the way we planned. The only reason that guy keeps playing is because of his defensive contribution. Nothing else. He is completely useless going forward.

When I say that Pep learnt something from Tuchel in 2021,people don't understand it.

Pep's team now defend in numbers. They no longer leave passing spaces for their opponents. This is what have gotten them to this final. His team is not like that of old where once you get past his midfield you now have a free pass to goal. Now, everyone comes back to defend.
It was grealish trying to clear a cross that gave man u a pk in the fa cup final. This is something that doesn't happen before with a pep team.

what I can say now is, Inzaghi did his job, not suring about starting Dzeko instead of Lukaku but solid game plan so far

Inter Milan has grown in confidence after every minute.
