Saturday, April 13, 2012, could pass for a very bad day for some South East-bound commuters. That day, dare devil armed robbers, attacked them, near Okada town, in Edo State. Nwakama (other names withheld), a Lagos-based businessman, was one of the victims of the robbery attack. http://odili.net/news/source/2012/apr/21/512.html |

She revealed that in their community, in Delta State, it is an abomination for a married woman to sleep with a man that is not her husband. “But when we arrived home and our elders deliberated on the issue and finally said that since it was not intentional, I had been forgiven. Yet, we still spent huge amount of money to perform some cleansing rituals.” madness of the highest order. why would i tell anybody my wife was rapped when he is not a doctor. they were both stupid in my view. i would rather take my wife to a location were no one knows us (to avoid rumours/embarrassment in future) and give her proper treatment after which i would do my best to help her forget the experience. rituals ko ,cleasing ni,were where the dumb gods when it all happened 14 Likes 1 Share |

In Urhobo land in Delta central, if your wife as much as receive a gift from a suitor/toaster and brings such into the family, she can kill the entire household. Let alone sleeping with another man be it rape or consentual. Sweet thing about this tradition is that it works a 100% and I have seen it more than once. You are a Christian or Muslim I suppose. You are asking where the gods were, can you relate the hypocrisy? |
