@poster You maybe getting it all wrong. Those are amature gem hunters with other full time jobs. A friend of mine went there for a weekend vacation, and seived sand just for fun. Unlike our African situations, this Arkansas diamond park is more for fun(and occassionally money) than the desperation that characterize Congo and Sierra Leon situations. As you can see, commercial seiving of the sand is prohibited in Arkansas. So, while the situations appear same, please note the different circumstances. |
