alj harem: Yorubas apologise to who? when? and for what? Yorubas owe no region in nigeria no blasted apology for all that transpired during the events that eventually culminated in the civil war? we simply did what we had to do to protect the interest of our people. |

torkaka: nobody tricked anyone! the biafra war wasn't a war between biafra and hausa people,it was a war between biafra and nigeria! it wasn't a question of angas man are you going to fight?,?yoruba man are you going to fight? or tiv man are you going to fight? all were enlisted as nigerians in the nigerian army! name a tribe outside biafra that didn't take part in the fight against biafra! Thank you for knocking some sense into the deeply blinded. Before i forget who were the commanders of the war?Who was conscripted and who were excluded? Even T.Y Danjuma doesn't share this same crap this so called group suggest. He said all took part and it is a lie that any group that took part is fooled into it.What i see here is the fact some people will go to any length for oyel money and relevance.Being fooled into a war and dying which one scares you? Also this is a youth group speaking on behalf of there elders.I dey laugh.cheap excuse.I have met alot of MB elders who fought in the war and they don't share that idea/rarely give a hoot about what transpired. All they remember was several encounters with Igbo biafran armies. They also feel they did there bid for Nigeria against the Igbo arrogance and campaign to break away.So they know the reasons.which is the same universally in Nigeria.remind me then how did they fool them? If anything, i would agree to issues of motivating people on to the battle field. They need reasons.Reasons could have come from any quater MD/core north/others etc.Depending on the commander and not army.Don't forget when it happened the Igbos had significant presence in the top echelon of the army.Don't forget also the MB had same and the yorubas.SO explain to me where the mind game and wayo came from.Imaginary stories shall never end.I guess the Igbos told there people to give roses out to the Nigerian Military and the forcefull conscription of the ND people and use of other people eg binis as resource centres or expendable units in battle was angelic.Foolish people. |

haka_nai: When ethnicities other than Igbo precipitate anything such as coup or instigate a war or mere riot, it is fine and readily named Nigerians for Nigeria. However when Igbo lead other groups in doing the same thing, it becomes Igbo for Ndigbo as well as Igbo dominance or arrogance. Few people in Nigeria, with fixed faculty, have come to realize that January 15, 1966 coup was a Nigerian army show not Igbo thing. They have shown regrets in participating in a foolish war which followed the coups. A war most Nigerians now felt should not have been instigated even if eastern region of Nigeria had decided to cede from the rest of Nigeria without a cause. You talked about MB people doing their bid aganist Igbo arrogance, if you do not mind, I would appreciate an elaborated aspect of “Igbo arrogance” as you stated in the post above. |

We are tired of Middle Belt crying and begging. Dude, fight your war with core north simple and stop trying to find ways to drag igbo into helping una. WTF is this new thread to inform Igbo una were tricked? okay we've heard, do una need to keep repeating yourself? Who tricked una? Some people should be man enough and stick to what they did instead of trying to find a way to pass blame onto someone else. Did Hausa/Fulani put a gun on MB head when MB's murdered the Igbo running back to the East in cold blood? Abeg, let us rest. We've heard una!!! |

Chyz*: And HOW many yorubas were involved and WHEN did they became involved in this "pseudo-nigerian" coup? alj harem: Of course, nzeogwu had good intentions but ifeajunna and his puppet-masters had totally contrary ideas. Infact, i believe it was an "igbo coup within an igbo coup within an igbo coup"!!! |

haka_nai: They are not arrogant, rather they want to achieve something in live and celebrate their achievement by making impact in their various communities but some people like you that are coming from a group that are not achievement driven will see them as arrogant because they refuse to settle for the less like you.It was the same arrogance tag that you used to justify their annihilation but it was just a mark of hidden jealousy for their hard work and pursuit of excellence in every of their chosen endeavors. Positive accomplishments bring a sens of self fulfillment that people at the side can sometimes see as arrogance especially those that are inherently allergic to positive ambition in order to diminish the achiever and the achievement so that they have a false sens of equality with the achiever. It is the same mind of trying to destroy the achiever that made one of your parliamentarian to shamelessly say that they have to find ways to frustrate Igbos as they are the only people that knows how to do their business in northern region. They lowered every standard in education, sports etc just for you people to have a taste of false sens of accomplishment but still a chicken can not urinate because to urinate is not easy. They forceful conscripted ND people and your people forceful took their oil blocks and forceful made them onlookers in the sharing of their resources by giving them genocide which is the only gift your people can give to humanity without being arrogant. 1 Like |
