Every one here should move to the politics section and help contribute on the insecurity emergency at hand rather than gaeying and lesboning here.

buchi4action: My friend is madly in love with a lady that lives 100 meters away from his house, is it advisable for him to start a relationship with her?

shooooooo...100metres far naaa.
I tot its d same compound.
Irrespective of location (office, schl, house, street, church etc), maturity is d key factor.
I once heard of someones colleagues who dated in d office 4 3yrs, no one knew until d wedding IV came out!

You get to see much of her unnecessarily. You tend to start feeling jealous when you see other guys around hitting on her. Basically, you'll find it hard to trust her after a while, and you'll just hate her for nothings sake! It's not advisable, unless you want frequent heartbreaks.

It's even better if she was 1000 meters away, i.e 1km away, than 100 meters. . . That's a NO NO!

You often speak in absolutes! this is your opinion! My only relationship that worked was close, as in very close distance, and i loved it! Better close than far for me.

If the guy has good intensions (i don't mean marriage right away) for the relationship, then it is ok. But he has to handle this relationship with serious maturity and the lady also has to give him space (no stalking from both sides).

Secondly, "SEE FINISH" can come in and spoil the fun in it.
It's a 50/50 chance.
It's a risk worth taking but with maturity, no matter how it goes.

They must not give ears to 3rd party reports (aproko gists about each other).

If you are no longer in that relationship, can you really say "It worked?". By the way, how close is too close? I'm ok with 1km close, but 100m close is too close mehn. Besides, my answer was of course my opinion.

ZIM DRILL: dating has no formula sometimes it is worth it to try and came out with your own experience from it

than being told from other people;s experience which they made mistakes that you would never do

its like saying dont do english at school becoz so and so had a bad experience with the langauge. would agree to drop it or you would give a try ?

nice.. well it ended because it turned to a long distance relationship! And i mean 100meters close, we were neighbors! And the 1km you are ok with, is so u don't bump into her on the street abi? Or is it for other chicks to visit and she can't see through her balcony, or vice versa?

No, it because of the "space" needed for a relationship to thrive. . .

No. It breeds contempt!

What happens if you met the lady somewhere far from your neigbourhood or town. You have both been fond of each other and you are ready to take the relationship to the next level. Inadvertently, she relocated to your neighbourhood unknown to her she is in your neighbourhood and you are oblivious of her resident in your neighbourhood. When it finally dawn on both of you of this arrangement, would you end the relationship on account that she is your nxt door neighbour and a girlfriend?

Personally, I have no reservation. I see nothing wrong in going out with your neighbour. there is no law that forbids that. I cant find myself bottling up my feelings just for a flimsy of excuse of the opposite sex being my neigbour.

It's a worse case scenario you just laid out. If i find myself in such, i won't lie to myself for i am imperfect. It is not going to be easy, It even breeds contempt the more. . . You can't deny that!

No, not advisable. Never date close to home. Could snowball into something unpleasant in the future.

Just ask youself these questions: Do you want everyone close to you to know about your relationship with the babe? Will seeing her with her friends that are boys all the time upset you or make you jealous? When she dumps you will you be able to handle seeing her around every single day?

There is nothing bad in it,it just that we don't sincere with ourselves and we don't know what we want.Majority of those who oppose it don't have genuine points. It is not good,if someone still want to play around.

It's the easiest and cheapest in that you don't make calls, ping, drive to see her, baff up, et al, and when she visits you,she eats whatever it is you're eating!
