2) Though yoruba language has native alphabet,i would advice you to write[b] N/A [/b]in that area. That was what i did during my own time and nothing happened.

It wasnt required for 2012 winners and i still doubt it if its required for 2013 winners as well but you can call US embassy in Lagos(not KCC) about it.

of course affidavit of support is requested, do you think you can go to the USA with no money, and then sleep in the street or ask the US gov to give you food, shelter, and money! wake up!
no money=no visa for you.

about visa fee, you pay 330$ for visa, then 300$ for green card lottery, then 100-200$ for US embassy fee depending where you apply), total is around 800$.
then ad 50-150$ for doctor, 20-50$ for police certificate,+ hotel....

it has costed me around 1000$.all included.

There is nothing special about the passport. Just visit any photographer around and tell him you want 2X2 passport used for US visa application or lottery and save the softcopy in your flash or memory card. If you use correct sony ericsson phone like Z750,w995,xperia and co or correct samsung or Nokia, You can snap yourself and cut into 600pixel by 600 pixel using microsoft picture manager.

I first time i met the guy @swisstourist on visajourney where he claimed to have won the DV2012 but felt its waste of time and resources to go because USA is in Recession. He gave so many negative thought about the DV and US but many people countered him. I was surprised when i me him here claiming he is now is US. Guys,the guy isnt Nigeria but australian or swiss ,so whatever he trys to say here may not con-core with what is happening in Nigeria US embassy(eg affidavit of support) but instead of him to keep quiet he is make mockery of himself.

Just budget 30k each for you and your wife while you go with your baby immunisation card.His own maynot cost more than 20k. Visa fees is $330 per applicant making $990 that would pay. Police report would cost you around 7k
