Again! I just got Sexkills to remove a similar post in the crime section this morning. We need to be on the lookout for this nonsense cos I suspect someone might try to post it again.

Just want to ask why there is no dislike button on nairaland? Every now and then terrible comments come up and yet forum members have no way of venting their displeasure.

In fact someone on this forum has suggested using an auto-hide feature with the dislike button (a certain number of dislikes would automatically hide the post). If the number of dislikes that would activate the auto hide is the issue, then you may rather consider an auto-notify feature where a number of dislikes notifies the moderator of such a post.

You see, this will work smartly for nairaland, because bad posts will always be disliked and with this, moderators will not have to comb through every thread to fish out hateful posts.

Thank you, the actions of the moderators here on this section are very very appalling.


I wrote a rebuttal to another article and the rebuttal was closed for no reason and a link to the article being rebutted was put bu the moderator.

Clearly, such a moderator doesnt know that a rebuttal is quite the opposite of the thing being rebutted.


Worse off, I complained with no response. No explanation, nothing.


After these same people will go and complain that Nigerian politicians are corrupt. Hypo........

Point B wanted to be part of the judges, but didnt make it. He believes Jarus could easily have made it happen if he wanted (but Kooger was whom Jarus still kept as a judge in spite of his recklessness on the thread).

Feeling rejected, Point B (pretty much the same day, depending which part of the world you're in, or almost immediately), launched a thread in the politics section for this years Eze Nairaland to get things rolling.

Of course Jarus saw this as competition, and although he came to the thread to announce his presence and support, he did not move it to FP.

(i didnt see it, but i guess) the politics debate nomination and topic thread made it to home page. someone correct me if i am wrong.

and only after it was over (again correct me) did the eze nairaland thread get to home page.
