[b]"26-year-old Meenakshi Thapar was allegedly kidnapped and beheaded by two of her co-stars in what seems to be a story straight out of a horror movie.

Amit Jaiswal and girlfriend Preeti Surin, whom the actress met on the set of her latest movie 'Heroin', heard of her family's wealth and soon hatched a plan to kidnap her.

The couple then invited Meenakshi on a trip to Gorakhpur where they held her hostage and demanded 1.5 million rupees(£18.000) from her parents. They even threatened to force the Bollywood actress into pornography if their demands were not met.

Ms Thapar's mum transfered 60.000 rupees into her daughter's account for the kidnappers to withdraw but that wasn't good enough because shortly after that, she was strangled and beheaded.

One of the detectives working on the case told The Telegraph this"

"She was strangulated in a hotel and her body was hacked into pieces and thrown in a water tank. They threw her head from a moving bus while travelling back to Mumbai.”
