This is a TR-100 Terex Rigid Truck (100 Ton Capacity) going down the road on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Saturday May 19th 2012 evening. Each Truck is well over $1m. The Caterpillar version sells for close to $1.5m. They are 5 in Number These truck are used mainly in mines / Quarry and will never see the street for most of their entire life. Just too big for normal roads. I was very giddy to see these Monsters on the road. i had to stop and take some pics. Lots of traffic cos cars can barely pass and there are no lorry that can pass at all. Very close to Ibadan toll gate. Lovely to see. On one hand i was happy to see these type of money flowing in this country. On the other hand, i am not, knowing that PROBABLY these trucks MAY not be owned by a Nigerian Entity / Individual.
