VICE CHANCELLOR AND REJECT POSTPONEMENT OF RESUMPTION
DATE.
The SUG president, Comr Pelumi in a discussion with the Vice
Chancellor on 22nd of oct, disagree with the management on the
issue of the University resumption date. The VC may be proposing
a postponement of the resumption date due to the incompletion
of the renovation progress of some particular place like hostels
and lecture halls. The SUG President said, the university over the
years have critically suffered academic programme duration
elongated and instability due to several inglorious factors which
has turn a 4 year course to 6 years course in the university. While
we agree with the renovation of the university structure we feel
that the students should be put into serious consideration
However, the president said the university was initially suppose to
re-open on the 13th of october, but was later postpone to 27th of
oct, he further and made it clear to the VC that the entire student
of university of abuja stands to reject in its entirety any
mechanical action that will bring about the postponement from
27th of oct. it is on this note that the entire university of Abuja
students disagree with the proposal of the postponement.
The VC has summoned the SUG President, Dean and Deputy Dean
Students and some stakeholders so as to continue discussion on
this matter of resumption while the VC asked the President to go
round the school and see the state of the renovation. The out
come of the meeting will determine the final resumption date,
however let me therefore announced that the resumption date
still remains 27th of october for new student and 3rd of
november for returning student.

I am asking because you guys will sound so sure now, but one week to the date, you guy will start saying it's was rumor.

Yesterday In a meeting convey at the senate building to discus about the resumption date, the meeting ended dead luck. However, 17th of november is now the propose date for the resumption, but the senate are to meet today by 11am for the approval.

Nobody is even talking about the admission list ,jamb deadline for admission is Oct 31st today is the 24th..how can we Resume on nov 17th when some schools are already in middle of first semester,in what time are we going to finish registration and start proper learning before December and the 2015 elections are in feb 2015 till march ending...and some people and even happy to say Nov 17th asif it's a good thing..No wonder they said uniabuja is a destiny killer haba!! The most painful thing is that this is the capitals university...I shake my head*

worst university ever, no one can frustrate me.

you guys need to go the university, they are not even serious with the renovation, how can person be fixing the roof of a hostel, and you expect him to finish on time?,
see how large the work is, but only few labourers. if you want a job done quickly, you employ enough labour, enough of this excuses, and mediocrity.
