Abi can mean different tinz.
It could mean "right?" or "isn't it?" e.g you have eaten, abi?(right?)
it could mean "or" e.g or(abi) u want to eat? It could mean "yes" e.g you're looking fresh. abi oh! (yes oh).
Different meaning..

Anyway dat doesn't stop me from asking d most important question.
Pls where is d joke?
Cos dis won't make me laff! grin grin tongue

the english wey everybody know, d one wey be everybody official language for nigeria, d one wey no get type at all, infact d one wey d op take write im question,, which is british english! So abeg just park go one side o jere!

And for pete's sake! "abi is pidgin english too(though it could also be a yoruba word), so how and why would d op be asking us to translate one pidgin english to another pidgin english for him?! Dat doesn't make sense nah! So obviously, he's asking us to translate it to d general english dat we speak in nigeria, which is supposed to be queens english i.e british english.
If u no still understand, abeg go mop ocean jare! undecided

Apologies for posting this in the wrong section. It wasn't meant to be a joke, for those that believe it is. It is meant to educate those that know not. So if you have a problem with the location, suggest a relocation of the thread. Many regards.
