No bank statement. Just certified copy of his passport, his proof of address and the letter
Tryhard:

Was your supervisor bank statement attached the application? Plus what other documents?

Were they all certified and do you know if the Consulate called to confirm everything ?

Only his passport was certified. I don't know whether they confirmed the documents

Good morning house. I was denied my student visa with the only reason being YELLOW CARD NOT VALIDATED. I have now validated my yellow card online with barcode. I am submitting again tomorrow and my question is, can I use all my previous documents since they do not have an issue with those documents? Has anyone recently had this issue? Please advise, thank you!

Yes please, you can! But you know police report, Medical and Radiology have validity? So if you are within the validity period you can submit it

sponsorship means supporting your school needs including tuition fee financially.. and for your sponsor to be considered he or she has to submit a good bank statement of 3-6 months and a good closing bal .. once that is done, the rest is easy to process

A good closing balance is how much ?

A good closing balance is how much ?
depending on your school tuition fees

You can’t attend a school that pays $10k for tuition fee and have $10k in closing balance and feel you will be approved

If your school pays $10k yearly for tuition fee

Then a good closing balance should be 5-6 times that cos it will cover for your apartment too and miscellaneous

Hi All, has anyone gotten South Africa Visa recently (between October and November)? If you have, kindly advise how long it took for the visa to come out and the visa route (E-Visa or Physical VFS).

I was with my trusted agent few days ago .. She showed me an approved 1 week conference visa she applied on E-Visa (VFS platform) .. and this visa was approved on the 10th Nov even when it was applied on 31st Oct. and the surprising thing is this man is a first time traveller lol. But you know what was more surprising? They gave the man exact days of stay he applied for. They didn’t add any extra days for him hahahaha.. his visa was approved on the 10th and will expire on the 18th Nov. my agent told me that is how Evisa VFS works now. I had to change my mind and tell her to increase my days from a week to a month just incase cos she said they give you the exact days you apply for .. cos they don’t want Nigerians too much in their country

Hello, this E visa, how does it work? My background; I am in SA but have overstayed my permit & its difficult to renew.

I'm wondering if I can apply for Study visa here again via the e-visa hence my question.

Thanks for your reply.

Good thing about the E-route is that it doesn’t require you to submit your passport at any embassy. Everything is done online. But since you are already in SA, you are supposed to get a stamp on your passport that you have left the country before they can consider your E-application (Guess so)

Alright. I understand. Since I may be documented in/on the system. Thank you.

After 2 days and nobody here gives you a genuine answer to your question as you seek.. then you will agree with me that it was indeed a dumb question. Watch out
