Moyosoore2001: This delay in study visa, itâs everyone that applied from nigeria thatâs experiencing this. I donât think theyâve issued study visa this year at all. Plus the VFS said itâs at the discretion of the consular to know when to issue study visa, thatâs there is really no timeline for processing. All we have to do now is to hope. Universities in SA should also play a role in this issuance of Visa. They should have sent list of students accepted for studies to each mission worldwide for fast processing maybe through DHA especially now registration is in progress. I have seen when theyâve expedited visa for students especially those with scholarship like DAAD & Nelson Mandela Scholarships and it was on Twitter. 2 Likes |

What is the difference between e visa and the one you apply for using VFS and go for submission of documents at Lagos? |

Joewaxx: Yeah e-visa via the VFS portal. |
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Tryhard: 7:27pm On Feb 12, 2023 |
Momotola16: Avoid submitting physically at the VFS Centers, Applications are now taking very long to get a decision. Some applications spending 8, 9, 10 months in their custody without decisions. Use the E-Visa platform which is not even guaranteed. But if you must apply for E-Visa try 2-3months before you date of departure. Itâs an advice though. 2 Likes |

femiaction: After creating unnecessary panic and accusing people of fraud unjustly. Honestly, Nigerians need to take suing people seriously. Imagine defaming people as scammers and then coming back weeks after to say âyou just confirmed you lied and accused them wronglyâ. This is how you people create stupid narratives about Nigerians and then get angry when outsiders label us the country of Fraudsters. Next time, confirm information before accusing people wrongly, so you donât land yourself a huge lawsuit. 5 Likes |

Gernny: Did you write a statement that you are fully aware this application will take very long? On your Checklist at their office? Plus itâs only short term they are issuing, and itâs long term people that are waiting for visa for almost 5 months now. Someone here is almost 9 months now. I havenât seen or heard study visas being issued. I donât know how they are doing it or how they want to do it. |

Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Bammybestowed: 11:24am On Feb 14, 2023 |
AmancalledGod: The question is, what is the purpose of your intending travel? Are you going for work, studies, vacation or japa? If you are going for anything other than vacation, donât waste your money. SA is not for hustling, just go enjoy your money and come back to Nigeria. There are no jobs there which makes it really hard for legit hustlers. Think about it very well before you embark on anything, focus on country where you will get good return of investment. 5 Likes |

Please is there any one who submitted their passport recently for sticker visa after they got an email to submit it, how many days did it take before it was returned? |
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Tryhard: 1:00pm On Feb 14, 2023 |
Bammybestowed: There might be jobs only IF you have critical skills. If youâre very good with computer programming like Frontend, Backend, Angular then software developer, Data Science, Machine Learning, Information security analyst those hot courses you might be lucky find because itâs on the countryâs critical skills list. But to get the Critical Skills Visa is quite hard, it takes too long to process and no company might want to wait that long so they will look for people who already have the critical skills visa or more preferably PR. 1 Like |

AmancalledGod:Please don't come to SA if you want to hustle as others advice you. If you are an IT you can look for job and apply for critical skills visa. 3 Likes |
