Please everyone, I am having an issue. How do I do I get the hotel reservation without using third party booking. All I tried online refers me to third party like Agoda. Has anyone done hotel reservation recently and the visa was approved? Please drop your details or help me out. I want to apply at port Harcourt centre.

Secondly must I get the flight booking ID for the fight booking? I did not pay for the fight but just printed the booking summary without payment, but this doesn't have booing id . Please help out
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Hugoboi(m): 3:04pm On Jan 28
Go to hilton.com and select Cape Town. Put in your dates it will show your availabile hotels in Cape Town. Select DoubleTree by Hilton and book your room. When it gets to the payment page, put in any Master Card (preferably one that is linked to an account where you don't have money or you don't use]. Once done your reservation will be immediately be confirmed and sent to your mail. Print out reservation from your email and submit with your application.

MAKE SURE YOU CANCEL the reservation before the arrival date or you will get billed. If you are applying at Port Harcourt VFS at Vineyard, ask of Boma. He works there and can do it for you along with flight reservation for a token.

Thank you very much for this. I am actually applying to Bloemfontein. This information is very useful. If I am not able to do it, I will find the Boma when I get there.God bless

Please can anyone advice on how to track application?

This embedded hyperlink in this main link https://visa.vfsglobal.com/nga/en/zaf/track-application (for application submitted at vfs Abuja) don’t even return anything than “invalid inputs”.

The reference number i have entered to check status is in this format (ZAF/ABV/YYMMDD/****/**); I have tried diff combinations of this ref no and no luck, can someone please advice if there is a format expected?

Is there another link or the link don’t just work for anyone until such persons visa is ready?

What am I missing or what do I need to do?

Okay, I submitted my application December, 20th and yet to get feedback. Can you please advise?

I think you should follow up with an email. They are email responsive now. Within a week of the email sent, I think you would have gotten a response or your application finalised. Good luck.

Try Homii apartments on commercial street in Cpt CBD.
Furnished apartment with central hubs, right in the CBD, close to nice places like V & A waterfront (15-25 mins walk) and you can get a room for between 6-11k depending on size or co-sharing.
You also don't need to commit for long term or pay any deposits, you pay monthly.

I understand my request is unrelated to this, apologies.

Please can u (or anyone) advice on how to track application?

Yes, i applied for them to courier back to Port Harcourt via GIG logistics with expectation that the visa will be issued on time when i will still be in Nigeria, but they they delayed and i had to travel.

So, the previous address was Port Harcourt, now I'm somewhere around Central Africa and dont know how to inform VFS to change my return address to where I am currently.

Bro, send your passport to your mum, dad , sis ,or relative. Simple as ABC. THEY WILL FIX THIS FOR YOU. IT'S JUST TO SUBMIT AND PICK UP. YOU MAY NEED TO GIVE THEM LETTER OF AUTHORISATION FOR THAT. CALL VFS NUMBER.

Please, I had to get police reports form several countries I have lived before which was tideous and expensive. Can I used the certified copied of the police certificates in place of the original for a long-term visa application? I want to keep the originals Incase I eventually need them.

Yes, certified copies are accepted for most long-term visa applications, but not PR permit applications. However, original PCCs become invalid once it's past 6 months since issued

It's unlikely you get a feedback but it is important you also know there is a deadline for you to submit that passport. So act fast

I got the evisa though. Multiple entry. Applied this month and got it in a little over 2 weeks or so.

hunee:
It is looking like it been a while since someone here was able to get an e visa. True or False?

Anyone got an evisa recently? Tell us how you broke the jinx too because these people have been rejecting evisas alot lately.
