Please i want to cross over to elect/elect engineering as a physics graduate by going for a post graduate diploma in engineering before doing my masters.the quesition is: can i get a good job with a PGD certificate just in case the means for masters is no longer available.

I would think that if your physics was done in physics-electronics and you, in addition, get a PgDip as you plan to do, then you shouldn't find it impossible competing for jobs, provided you can prove that your knowledge is equivalent to that of an elect/elect graduate at your level. But I guess someone who works as an electrical/electronic engineer should have more to say here.

Meanwhile, some people with HND+PgDip get good jobs too. So, a PgDip is not a hopeless piece of paper!

thanks alot...it took me Some time to even decide pgd in engineering over a masters in physics or geophysics due to the unemployment rate in this country.
