Become A US Citizen Now……. Boko Haram Is Coming For You! by nasticy: 11:04pm On Jun 10, 2012
Recently, I was reading the US naturalization test, and the questions intrigued me. Some of the questions asked are: What is the rule of law, What does the constitution do, What is an amendment, Who is your states Senator now, what stops one branch of government from becoming too powerful?
You can read all the 100 questions here. http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.749cabd81f5ffc8fba713d10526e0aa0/?vgnextoid=c242df6bdd42a210VgnVCM100000b92ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=c242df6bdd42a210VgnVCM100000b92ca60aRCRD

Boko Haram is a branch of government that has become too powerful. BH is the total embodiment of all government failures…. Bad governance, bad leadership, corruption, greed, injustice (IBB looted, nothing happened, Abdulsalam looted, nothing happened, Bankole looted, everyone has forgotten, 1 trillion naira subsidy scam-where are the culprits? ), cowardice ( aka fear, lack of political will etc- which you will find in Rev 21:8, Good News Bible, as the number 1 vice that is leading people to hell, even before immorality and witchcraft), Insecurity (yet one man will stay in the safety of his presidential palace and declare come June 2012, Boko Haram will be completely wiped out. Yet this is June 10 and the bombings continue. Moreover, in typical useless Nigerian diplomacy, if you ask him why BH is still active, I am sure he will tell you June is not yet over)….. the list goes on.

Who do you think rules Nigeria? You don’t know? Okay, Ask yourself this simple question.
The President instructs Nigerians to come out to Eagles Square for an event. Boko Haram releases a press statement stating no one should show up. Who will you obey? smiley

The Government is absolutely clueless on how to solve Nigeria’s problems. Instead it goes about putting the cart before the horse……You rename Unilag (as if the name is their problem), you increase electricity tariff (so we pay more for darkness), you change police school uniform, you rename NEPA to PHCN….the list of irrelevancies is endless. All government does is expensive cosmetic surgery when we need a heart transplant.
What upholds a country is the rule of law. That is the only reason US is great. Americans first of all know, then obey the law. Those who disobey are reprimanded….even if you are the President himself. Please mark my words… Nigeria will continue to be a failing state until everyone knows and obeys the law. And since only God’s laws are perfect, our laws need to be amended. Nigeria will continue to be a poor country until justice prevails…for according to Bryan Stevenson, the opposite of poverty is not wealth, but justice. Think about it. Billions stolen by wicked leaders are just opportunity cost that should have been invested in job creation, infrastructural development and education. As a result of their avarice millions of Nigerians go about hungry…….and bitter. There will be no commonwealth in this nation until people pay the price for their actions. As it is written….“And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.” Is 59:14.
The average American knows their rights. For God sake… the country demands that prospective citizens pass the naturalization test which is entirely about the law of the land and the country’s history. How many Nigerians know what our own constitution says? I myself am guilty. But even if I do know my rights……can they protect me in this country of ours? Of course they can’t! Because there is no justice.

That said, let us pass our own naturalization test. Government is everyone’s responsibility. Each reader should go and find out their senator and house of rep member responsible for their home state and/or residential area. Go and find out where they live. Find out whether they have electricity when Nepa takes your own light…..find out how many cars they have their disposal while you are jumping keke and bike… find out how many police escorts they have while you are your own security man. For you guys abroad…..remember you still have family here. So you are not exempt from this exercise. If after your investigations, you discover that una no dey the same level, you better do something about it. Because until they feel your pain, until they suffer the injustice you are suffering, nothing will happen. Be committed and involved about your life and your future. Lest your children curse you.

When the Nazis came for the communists,
I did not speak out;
As I was not a communist.
When they locked up the social democrats,
I did not speak out;
I was not a social democrat.
When they came for the trade unionists,
I did not speak out;
As I was not a trade unionist.
When they came for the Jews,
I did not speak out;
As I was not a Jew.
When they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out.
-Martin Niemoller.

In summary, we must learn to speak and take deliberate action. Injustice is our problem in Nigeria. Innocent Nigerians have died again today because of wickedness. Do something before Boko Haram kills you too.
