If someone gets a ban in US embassy, what can the person do to lift the ban in future

No strong ties to prove that you will return home.
I am sure you were given 214b on your refusal paper.

Also I believe they are seeing too many Conference applications turning to fraud.

There was NOTHING sarcastic about my remark.
It pointed out the simple facts to the poster.

Your remark was pointless and did nothing to help the person just an attack on me.
It is also poor spelling and punctuation.

Well, although you did not state the answers that you gave to these very important questions however, I believe that your answers were not satisfying- for example your kind of job and how much you make, and your ties to Nigeria.

funny enough I wasn't asked how much I make. the conference is one which is at par with the kind of job I do, I guess from my observations during the course of the interview, the fact that I stated I was unmarried n had no travel history ruined my chances cos just right after these questions plus her countenance, was told not qualified.
getting married soon and looking at going to the UK for my honeymoon how long do I need to wait before reapplying and do you think I stand possible chances of being considered this time? many thanks

As you are not yet married to her, her American citizenship has little or no influence on your visa application. You would have to meet the requirements like any other visa applicant.
She can either send you an invitation letter or you may book a hotel. If you decide to stay in her accommodation, ensure she is not living in a shared property.

Everyrhing you need to know is on the embassy website the same way you found about this forum you will find abt requirements you need and the ones ur lady need as well.. But one very good advice is better she comes to Nigeria and stay for sometime and if possible you guys get married ..

Hello justwise , I applied for a uk visit visa and put travel date to be 6 weeks from date of application, which is less than 3 months stipulates of the uk.gov rules. Kindly advise on the effect of this error on my chances of getting a visa. This error was predicated on the fact that I was not privy to this 3 months rule until I had completed and submited the application and was thereafter redirected to the TLS site where I discovered the error, besides that all other aspects are fine. Everything is computer data now.
That record stays there even without a stamp on your passport.
You are still refused.

You must look at the reason for refusal, work on it and re apply.

This is a query from an anxious mind and i do not want to add anxiety or to give false hope: since you have already made the application, i'll suggest you wait for the outcome since nothing can impact the application.

my case:

1. I was banned from Canada for misrepresentation of information on my PR visa application. [5yrs ban. Still serving ban here in naija].
2. i want to apply for Australia PR visa. I also intend to disclose all the details of my ban to them. to what extend will the ban affect my application. The visa cost is high. do i simply forget about going to Australia or any other country all together?
