Do we really need photocopy of our form A for Visa application?

No you do not need photocopy of your form A to apply for visa... it is there on their excel sheet they sent to Ministry of Education, Italy, which will in turn send the names of students to the different universities they applied. The embassy can always look up your names or verify whether you are included in those sheets (through your passport number as two people could bear the same names but no one can bear your passport number). I only included mine for eye service that i met all requirements. You are only required to include what VFS listed on their website only, or what is listed on Italy consulate websites only if you wish.

And again, know that the proof for them to give you visa is actually based on personal demonstrations that could convince them... and you cannot submit all what another person listed that they submitted (for instance, i submitted my land asset doc because I was nervous my personal account statement no carry huge chunks.. and have you bought a land too? Probably no!) unless the basic things like visa application form, flight booking, account statement, et cetera.

the woman should have given you date for collection if not the minimum is a month unless for fast tracking which can take 2weeks
When I went there she told me 30 days/one month. And its already 30 days. So it's most likely that I'm going on Monday to check. Or how did you guys do it?
Re: Italian Student Visa-help! by Nobody: 5:31pm On Jul 27, 2017
I want to make this very clear.. So many people have gotten the info they needed and zoomed away without even dropping a comment of there experience so far.

Please if u know u won't come hear to give back to the thread that has helped you so far.. Stay far from mailing me..

If everyone did like most people are doing there is no way u will get any information on how to go and u see your self dashing agent money u can use to do it yourself..

Which country are you going to develop? Remember that tertiary education is heavily subsidised in Italy even for foreigners. They are actually the one 'developing' you.
For those wishing to apply now for visa, I suggest you wait for the OFFICIAL ADMISSION letter from your school after your pre-enrollment application is successful.
bros am i not paying for tuition even if is 1naira and what do they use the 1naira to do? To develop other country or what abi they stock the 1naira in their house. Bros even if am paying kobo as tuition fee they will still use it to better their country you ur point is baseless

VFS was on my neck to book for insurance. But had a day to think about it since I had to come back the next day to complete the process. Next day, I look him squarely in the face and told him the sober truth "my schoolmate who is now in Italy through student visa told me it is unnecessary. If am to pay for health insurance now.. for how long package. 7 days, two weeks, or one month? When less than a week when I get there I am to apply for health insurance before I would be accepted to apply for study permit. Tell me.."

He quickly accepted and said no problem I can submit my docs without it. Bros, marketing strategies dey everywhere and agents are placed everywhere to suck you dry like mosquitoes. So really do your homework well so that you no go fall mugu to sweet mouth o!

Please who has gotten the visa?

Who also applied for visa to the Consulate in Lagos directly? Share your experience.
Re: Italian Student Visa-help! by Dbubu: 5:58pm On Jul 28, 2017
For those who have bookings or are still interested in going to the Consulate to apply for visa. Information I got from someone that applied today is:
The visa fee is #16800
No date for collection was given, they were just told that they will be called.
Only three persons submitted for visa application today due to the inability to book appointments.
Re: Italian Student Visa-help! by Dencotext: 7:42pm On Jul 28, 2017
Well if the amount at the embassy is #16800 I have duly considered the amount on transportation, feeding and accommodation for me to travel from Abuja to Lagos and back to apply for visa, minus all the wahala and time spent, it will be well over #10000. And that is why I gladly paid VFS in Abuja #25,330 for them to do the job for me. I just dey track the movement of my parcel online since Tuesday. Now am informed it is already in the Consulate General of Italy being processed. Man you better calculate the cost before jumping into the nearest band wagon to travel to lasgidi unless VFS no dey your territory at all. Even at that still consider all the wahala you may get at Lagos.

When I mentioned about "attestation of photograph" people dey wonder. Go to your university website and check the requirements for enrollment. May be I am dreaming or using a different word, but what do they mean by.. For instance Bologna university stated that for their enrollment, you must obtain from the Italian embassy "an authenticated passport photo" what do you think they are referring to here? Your international passport? No!

Passport photo is too tiny to stamp or sign on it, so I think it is that paper that my passport photo was attached to and stamped, and signed on the paper, then they wrote that my photograph have been authenticated by Italian embassy, giving all the details of my names, passport no and date of birth of the person's photograph they authenticated.

The truth is that since Italy embassy Abuja is not issuing visa but Lagos, then maybe the extra photograph you attached for your visa application, or provided during your preenrollment in Lagos in person, will be authenticated and given back to you eventually. It must not follow the order Abuja Italy embassy gave me, which was during my enrollment.

Nice one
I had similar issue in 2014.(mine was 9 months to expiration)
Andrea told me categorically to get a new passport which is very rare for an entry clearance officer to tell applicant. I can say I was fortunate.
The only place you can do that is Immigration HQ, Sauka Village Abuja. It is very close to the Airport.
Bro, if i were you, I wouldn't wait until that time.
Your people are waiting for you to milk you at the HQ. I spent 50k to get a new one while the old one was cancelled.
However, I met two guys that day and paid 150k.
I wish you all the best.

Bro, did you get it that same day after paying the 50k?

Firstly, it is a sponsor account so a huge chunk of money upfront like not less than 2M deemed OK for one year is more desirable. Secondly 300k is not enough for flight tickets, accommodation and school fee. At least 2000euro and above could take care of those stuffs minus a flight ticket... so that account is not even OK yet! Do not consider turnover when the current balance is not OK to take you there to complete enrollment.

With our legalized documents and DOV does it mean that our certificates will be recognized by any employer in italy?
Re: Italian Student Visa-help! by yomitekons: 10:04am On Aug 01, 2017
[Let me be candid with you, if the person can raise it to a million naira it will be better, they are concern with the inflow of cash in and out of the account, i applied for my visa with less than 1.5m and i was granted, so far the account has a good inflow
