what is the required duration of insurance required for italy? as before i have used 3 month insurance to get visa of estonia.
GYZSERVICES1:

@ marwan123, you can get your travel insurance from Cornerstone Insurance Plc. It is one of the requirements for visa processing at the Italian embassy.

Cornerstone Travel Insurance certificate is accepted by all consulates and embassies representing countries in the Schengen area and it also guarantees a coverage of up to 30,000 euros in conformity with the European directive.

If you wish to stay in a Schengen country, subscribing to a health and travel insurance isn't optional: it is mandatory when you submit your Schengen visa application at embassies or consulates of countries of the Schengen area and thus applying European directives.

THE SCOPE OF COVER INCLUDES:
1. MEDICAL EXPENSES & REPATRIATION
2. PERSONAL ACCIDENT
3. LOSS OF CHECKED-IN BAGGAGE
4. DELAY OF CHECKED-IN BAGGAGE
5. LOSS OF PASSPORT
6. PERSONAL LIABILITY
7. HIJACK DISTRESS ALLOWANCE

OTHER BENEFITS:
A. Financial Emergency Assistance
B. Travel Delay
C. Trip Cancellation & Interruption
D. Bounced Booking - Hotel and Airlines

NOTE:

1. It's advisable to take out travel insurance, regardless of where you're travelling to.
2. All the Schengen countries have mandatory travel insurance as a requirement.
3. Embassies only recognize/accept Travel Insurance from few selected insurance companies, so don’t just go & pick up travel insurance from unacceptable insurance companies. You can be refused visa for that.

Kindly check signature for contact details.

Best regards

The duration for Travel Insurance depends on the number of days for the intended trip. It is usually in days, annual multi-trip, bi-annual multi-trip.

You can decide to take few days, months or a year cover.

Warm regards

Yes, embassy is rejecting people's Visa application. They are using financial reasons as excuse. However, I think scholarship winners stand a better at obtaining the visa because a friend told me that some mathmods scholarship winners were granted Visa and are already in Italy

They will reply you, most likely that appointments are suspended. Study visa issues are not considered important right now. I'll advise prospective students to activate plan B. No need to talk too much.
To those who were denied, I hope your plan B is going on well. I wish you all the best.

please how is the procedure like on arrival and what if your school is not picking you up can you still be allowed in on your own with visa?

Sorry I don't check this often. I am sure you must be in now. During my time, arrival was seamless. And you can get in on your own and move around easily. Depending on the arrangement with your school, report to school as possible because they may have some information or document to support some of the processes you will do for your resident permit. All the best

Hello, please can someone help to explain the process for the legalization of Academic certificates at the Italian Embassy. The Italian University stated that the documents should be legalized precisely WAEC and academic transcript.
Do I go straight to the Embassy or Ministry of Education first?
How much is the legalization fee?
How many days will it take to have my documents legalized?

Authenticate your documents first at Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Before going to LEGALISE your documents.

PS hope your documents are already translated?

The main reason is covid, and the EU/Schengen area placed a ban on Nigeria. News from other non-EU countries too is not encouraging, too many people were denied visa this year.
